The parking was advertised to be free, given that you should book for it. In the booking form I explicitly asked if a parking site was available for me as a mandatoriy condition for my booking, which was made upon price criteria. Upon arrival I discovered all the "free parking places" were fully booked and I had to pay for parking. After payment I've been sent in a parking facility which was almost empty with plenty of space so I really could not understand why they told me that parking was full. Exactly the kind of surprises I don't like.

The staff are friendly, but are not "in-your-face" - and very helpful and thoughtful. Hotel is close to the main area but reasonably quiet. Would definitely go back.

Reception area and hallways worn and rundown-looking; cleaning equipment stored in corners and hallways; location across from a huge construction site; too expensive for the quality of the hotel.

Very friendly staff, warm welcome and prompt booking for our taxi back to the airport.

Slightly disapponted at not being able to eat in the hotel the evening we arrived, but found a very good restaurant that we ate in for all four nights of our stay.

Spacious double room is much better than simple double room in this hotel (we stayed several times in Die Raeckse). Bathroom in this room in winter is appreciated. We've got double bed as requested.

Direct het thuisgevoel, de mevrouw die ons ontving - een leeftijdgenoot?-bood ons direct een rustige kamer aan! ook de volgfende ochtend was het een goed toeven aan d eontbijttafel!

De buurkamer waar vanaf een uur of 6 in de ochtend ( aan de tussenmuur) de tv aanstond, zodat wij erg vroeg wakker werden.

Hôtel très fonctionnel, aucune déco, mais tout de même propre. Proche du centre. Possibilité d'avoir une carte de parking pour se garer gratuitement pendant 24h.

Un peu bruyant, la déco des chambres est froide et inexistante, c'est vraiment fait pour juste y dormir.

Rustige en ruime kamer.

Er stond een koelkastje maar er was geen inhoud.

Het hotel lag dicht bij het centrum van haarlem, makkelijk parkeren was mogelijk in een garage dichtbij. kamers waren luxer als ik had gedacht en het ontbijt was prima verzorgd.
