Rho is on the edge of Dam Square, half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater.

Great place, really close to bars, coffee shops and places to eat.tram is close by too,and its not a big walk into the very centre.breakfast is continental but there's also the option of making yourself an omlettee:) staff were awesome, would happily go back!
Location, staff, view (Amstel river), house keeping, free WiFi.
Very poor wardrobe, didn't use it so room was full of luggage which made it uncomfortable since it is not that spacious. Our stay was in high season (New Year) so was kinda expensive.
Fantastic location friendly staff lovely Christmas markets
Nothing we didn't like
helpful friendly staff great breakfast character property great location beautiful views
not cleaned to a proper standard floors tilt so much due to age of property was difficult to stay in bed bathroom in need of refurbishment
Beds really comfortable. Well heated and the T.V. proper satellite. Nice décor. Super friendly staff.
Location is excellent. Staff are so helpful and welcoming.
The hotel has a great location and views. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are a good size. The hotel is clean and on a quiet street. A perfect place to spend a few days exploring Amsterdam.
The bathrooms are small and some of the bedroom furniture is worn and dated.
great breakfast and good location
The room was so small we had to move a chair into the hallway to make room for our cabin size luggage. Bathroom tiles needed a scrub. Book the riverside rooms not a standard one. Dead flowers in dirty water on our large breakfast table..
location price quality of linen very good for the price range
breakfast very very basic and expensive at euro 12 better to eat at "la place" at rokin near hotel des arts, and cheaper at euro 3 only besides its better quality.
Breakfast. Complementary Rituals conditioner.
Everything is a bit run down and uncomfortable.
As in Amsterdam, everything is packed closely - but it works!
The location was fantastic! The hotel is right on the canal, close walking distance to everything in the heart of Amsterdam.
The bathroom was disgusting!! There was mold everywhere. It didn't look like it had been thoroughly cleaned ever. It was so moldy that the whole room stunk. I chose not to shower. It a very small room even by European standards. We couldn't fully open the door because the bed was right there. There was no where to put our luggage. We made it work for one night only. I would not recommend it.
The staff here were very friendly and very helpful. The shower was absolutely amazing. We booked on a last minute deal and for £134 over two nights it was excellent value. Very close to Rembrant Square.
Breakfast was excellent. The food is very tasty. Staff very friendly and very helpful. They do their job very well. Very close to the metro and other transportation, easy to reach city Centre! Location is just perfect. I recommend it !!!
parking was difficult, our room and the bathroom smelled of smoke, the bathroom was not that clean
Location & Staff & Breakfast
A little tired - rooms need some paint & new rugs
Traditional feel to the hotel. Staff helpfulness and friendliness. Location. Variety and choice of breakfast. Visiting heron outside the breakfast area. Good WiFi connection. Lovely comfortable bed and clean linen.
Cleanliness of the bathroom floor. (Bleach needed) Leaking loo and resulting funky smell in the room.
Relaxed environment. Charming helpful staff. Great location overlooking quiet waterway but less than 5 minutes to flower market and restaurants.
great character lovely view of canal super breakfast in a lovely dining room enjoyed seeing the heron at breakfast time
nothing really though our shower was a bit slow to clear
Quiet location but minutes from the shops and museums. Easy to get to and very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and the dining area lovely.
I had booked a twin room but was given a double which could not be changed due to being fully booked. We were compensated however and it was fine.
Great Location, 25 min walk from train station, with good bars and eating places close by. Comfy bed, good breakfast, free on our first day. Powerful shower! Helpful staff.
Decor needs refreshing and room above us was quite noisy due to wooden floor and furniture being moved around by guests.
The staff was great. I cant remember his name, but the guy at the reception was great, besides the fact that he was funny and nice and with great temper, he helped us out with the car we had to return and even went the extra mile and called them for us. Breakfast was nice and very welcoming. Great location.
The room was a bit small, but it was a good value for money.
Staff really nice location great clea
Rooms little on the small size for 3 in a room
Staff we're very friendly and very helpful they directed us in all the right places! Would recommend to anyone!
In the morning and evenings you would get a during smell sewers it wasn't very pleasant.
The bed was comfortable and the room (facing the inside courtyard) was quiet. The breakfast had a good variety of things, although the boiled eggs were not at all hard-boiled. There was very good heating, but no air conditioning. Not a problem in winter but it could be bad in summer. Overall it is a good mid-range hotel, better than most 3* hotels in Amsterdam.
The WiFi was not reliable; sometimes very slow and disconnected often.
Central location, canal view, cheap and there's a great family run quality food market around the block. Also, thanks to Pedro the owners rescue dog and the really nice front desk woman who checked me in I was able to overlook the 3 Star qualities.
Just not clean and kept up well enough for my taste but I do think I got what I paid for.
