Hotel Het Hoge Duin is situated 40 meters above sea level with a gorgeous view over sea, the beach and the dunes. The beach is almost at the foot of the hotel. Most of our rooms have seaview. we can also offer you a cosy restaurant, in summertime a great terrace and nice rooms for party's, weddings, business meetings and group travelling. A unique company in a unique piece of the Netherlands.

Very peaceful, friendly staff good food .Close to ferry terminal and water plane for Amsterdam. The bedroom although was comfortable the kitchen sink unit destroyed the bedroom atmosphere. The dining room did not have many people ye the wait for our meal took forever..

The staff was incredibly accommodating. We had a last minute change of plans that the staff made painless. The view from the seaview rooms were incredible. Breakfast was great, for 10 Euro you can't beat it. 15 minute drive from a park-n-ride that takes you into the city in 10 minutes. Comfy little town near by. We only stayed two nights :(

Size of the room; view from the room; friendliness of the reception staff Bed didn't support the lumbar spine; rudeness of one of the restaurant staff when asked politely if we could have scrambled eggs. Further in-depth training needed (if I am being kind.)

It was quiet at night, and there were no bright lights shining in the windows. The adjacent town was cute, and it was an easy commute into Amsterdam using the nearby park and ride system. I would absolutely love to stay here again!

Excellent buffet breakfast. I stayed in room 121. The quality of the pillow could be improved and a mirror in the room would be nice to have as well (especially for women).

The restaurant was okay Uninterested staff , room very cold upon arrival, took a while! although they promised to fit a new bulb into the reading light they didn't . Dark design we didn't like but that just matter of taste

Our standard room had a wonderful view onto the dunes and beach. The buffet breakfast was included in the price and served in a modern, comfortable restaurant. Our room also had full length windows and direct access to a large terrace. Although clean, there were small signs of previous inhabitants.

Lovely large seaview room that was quiet. Peaceful location. Good breakfast and a nice restaurant with views out to sea. Close enough to Amsterdam for easy day trip. If we were to return to Holland, this hotel would be worth revisiting. Some reviews spoke of the proximity of the Tata Steel complex but we did not feel it intruded and the nearby beach is obviously popular less than 20 miles from Amsterdam.

Lovely large clean room and big handsome bathroom. Ocean view perfect. Lots of steps within the hotel due to the nature of the site. No coffee maker in the room, instant only. Lighting is poor.

Fantastische plek, supermooi uitzicht, je loopt zo het strand op, prachtig om over het strand maar zeker ook door het duingebied te wandelen. Ontbijt is prima! Als je achterom kijkt is de industrie een schril contrast!

Top Lage! Was für eine Aussicht! Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Meerblick nehmen,sonst schaut man zwischen den Dünen auf eine Fabrik, die aber weniger stört als von anderen beschrieben. Wir hatten Meerblick. :-))Personal nett. Täglich frische Handtücher. Gespült wurde auch. Danke!!Frühstück für 10 € o.k. Frisch gepresster O-Saft soviel man will!!!! Zimmer sauber. Genug Parkplätze. Toller, weitläufiger, breiter Strand. Urlaub pur! Etwas enger Balkon. Möbel nicht mehr die neuesten.

Prima ligging tov strand, goede locatie, prettig parkeren met een kortere verbinding van kamer naar parkeerplaats, prettig personeel, lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Jammer, dat het restaurant op zondag niet open is.
