Hotel Hoogland Zandvoort aan Zee  

- Great location! Hotel is located practically on the beach and at the same time - 30 min on train and you are at Amsterdam Centraal (from Zaandvort train station to the hotel it's 7 min walk). - Clean and neat. - Cozy. My room looked like a room in some village house, simple, with out-of-date decorations - really recreates the atmosphere of staying at granma's :) - Very quiet and calm. Good place to come back from Asterdam after some parties :) - Great quality/price ratio.

- Not a complaint, but just a note to future turists: take into account two points re luggage: 1) there is no elevator and stairs are in amsterdam manner very-very steep; 2) E.G. in my room there were not enough space for clothes. So plan your luggage accordingly :)

clean place and friendly staff, close to the beach

It was the festive season and they had entered into the spirit of it all with some really good decorations. Friendly, helpful staff, right by the shopping and restaurant area. What more can you ask for?

I got away with it due to arriving late, but otherwise there was a charge for parking.

This was my second time staying at the Hotel. Once again I found it welcoming. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They remembered my needs and I was offered the same ground floor room as the last time. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for the service it offers and its closeness to the beach, railway and town centre.

Excellent breakfast, spacious downstairs lounge and bar, good policy on guests.

The staff and service were outstanding. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They made great restaurant recommendations and gave excellent directions and maps. I needed to check out early to get to the airport, so they opened up breakfast half an hour early for me. The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned and small, but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Hoogland again.

I have been to the hotel before, this was my second visit. I like the hotel and may consider booking again.

The friendliness of the staff

The stairs were very steep and narrow and parking was extra due to having to park in the carpark . I would advise people who are going to stay are advised That there is no lift in this hotel

This was my first time staying at his hotel. It will not be my last. On arrival, and seeing that I had a mobility problem, I was given a ground floor bedroom. On the first evening I was invited for a welcome drink and on leaving I was offered a bottle of water. This is a very well run Hotel. The owners and staff are warm and friendly and willing to help in any way. The Hotel is ideally situated - only minutes from the train station, beach and town centre. I will definately return to Hotel Hoogland.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Hoogland, our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful, giving us useful insight into the surrounding area. The hotel is only 200m from the beach, perfect and great value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

Tutto Ok per quanto riguarda la camera (forse mancavano una coppia di sedie e/o un tavolino) la colazione e la cortesia del personale. Ricordarsi di chiedere una camera al pian terreno (cosa che noi non avevamo fatto) in caso di difficoltà a fare le scale (che sono poco agevoli).

De 1ste meneer die me incheckte was super vriendelijk, maaaar die andere meneer is een grote onvriendelijke man. ik had 1 pers kamer, wou even de koekbox pakken met vriend, nee, hij mocht niet mee naar boven, en hoe hij dat zei: het was echt niet normaal!!! en drinken in de minibar over de datum, meeredere flesjes!!!.Ik kom er nooit meer!! Heb er ook niet geslapen, heb iets anders geregeld. Dus ik zou het wel op prijs stellen voor een tegemoedkoming van hun kant. De watertoren was vol, daar is het super!!!!!

Het bed, vorige zomer beneden geslapen waren wel prima bedden.

Vom 24.- 29.04.2013 waren wir im Hotel Hoogland. Bereits bei unserer Anreise waren wir ziemlich erschrocken, da unser Zimmer nur durch eine steile Wendeltreppe in das zweite Stockwerk zu erreichen war. Da ich schwer gehbehindert und auf Gehstützen angewiesen bin, habe ich das Zimmer überwiegend nur einmal pro Tag verlassen und betreten: zum Frühstück und zum Schlafen. Ein wirklich kompetentes Hotelmanagement hätte für meine Situation Abhilfe finden können, denn es gab mehrere Zimmer im Erdgeschoss!! Ein weiterer Punkt betrifft die Sauberkeit Als ich das erste Mal duschte lief die Duschwanne fast über, denn das Flusensieb war voller Haare und die Abdeckung desselben total verschmutzt. Nach Beanstandung wurde das Sieb zwar gereinigt, die Verschmutzung jedoch nicht. Uns wurde gesagt dass auf die Zimmerfrauen wohl kein Verlass sei, was ich peinlich finde, denn solche Frauen sollten doch wohl in einem 3 Sterne Hotel nicht angestellt werden. Wir fanden es überhaupt seltsam dort nie eine einzige Frau dort arbeitend angetroffen zu haben und haben daraus unsere eigenen Schlüsse gezogen. Mein Mann hat beobachtet, dass Männer die Zimmer reinigten. Ich finde es beschämend für mangelnde Sauberkeit die Weiblichkeit haftbar zu machen, die in diesem Hotel gar nicht existiert.

de badkamer was een beetje klein

Mijn zus en ik hadden 2x 1-pers.kamer geboekt en bij aankomst hoorden we dat we - om onbekende reden - 1x 1,5 pers.kamer en 1x 2-pers.kamer kregen toegewezen. Het waren grappige kamers. Een 'kabouterkamer' en een 'rozekamer' (wat gedateerd maar schone kamers) Op de kamers werd je verwelkomd met diverse lekkers,fruit en drinken. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Op één van die kamers is het hang-en sluitwerk van de ramen slecht onderhouden. Ook op badkamer (van diezelfde kamer) kan het raam niet open.

5 min zum Strand

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es ist aller Komfort vorhanden, den wir gebraucht haben. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die verspielte Dekoration überall macht das Hotel Hoogland zu etwas besonderem was man mal erlebt haben muss. Wenn wir wieder mal in Zandvoort sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.
