Well the only positive thing to say about the hotel Manofa is that when you leave you are happy to put the nightmare away from you. Well you can see why this hotel was in the top 10 of the dirtiest hotels in europe, if first impressions count on seeing a young guy rolling a joint in the main reception area, with the strong smell of weed burning and old men a sleeping in the reception area with a strong smell of urine. Well thats the hotel manofa for you, just like the movies. belive me don't bother to stay here it is the pits of amsterdam. pay the extra and search for something better you will be thankful.

Anything. That was awful. Absolutely not. This was the dirtiest, oldest, noisiest and worst hotel I've ever stayed on. Room was dirty, Sheets smelt like used, Toilet smelt like pee, there was only one small towel for a double room. And the room smelt like hell. And you can hear how the rats are moving between the walls while sleeping. Never again.

It is the worst hotel I have ever lived. They asked me 10 Euro for the key deposit, and refused to return it to me. The room is very old and dirty. I will never live in it again.

The fact that despite it was 1 star it was en-suite No shower curtain so the shower room floor got wet. The wardrope door was hanging off and it had no back to it anyway. Sone of the other guests seemed intent on being very noisy even late at night.

It is very central, five minute walk from the central railwaystation. It has no elevator, and I had to climb the stairs with my luggage to the 4-th floor. The room had a bad smell, like very old and no fresh air.

The staff were ok (ive had better customer service before in places that have been cheaper) but apart from that nothing else. Not really worth the price that I paid. The building is old and breakfast was the worst ive ever had. If you can help it try and find a better place to stay. The only positive is that its very central. The long narrow stair that you have to walk up to enter the building. The hotel definitively needs a lift. Rooms are small and underneath my bed was covered in dust and I found a broken cigarette with a empty "goodie bag", obviously they didn't clean my room.

Good location near Central station and Red Light. But far from Leidsplein and Rembrantsplein by foot. I don´t find any rats in my room like some people said here... Staff was nice, 24h open. Breakfast wasn´t very good... It´s difficult to open the window in 1st floor because they are too big. Too many stairs.

Strategic location with affordable price. One of the front desk staff seems like to provide sincere assistant when requested a new towel which collected by their housekeeping.
