Comfortable room, nice view, wonderful bed, free parking and free wifi. This hotel was inconsistent in about everything. The lady who checked was great, and the lady who checked us out was quite rude and impatient. The room was comfortable (loved the bed), and it had a great view, but the window was dirty which impeded the view. Free internet, but the speed was only adequate, and definitely not high-speed. At €50 it was a good value for us. But be advised that the tourist tax is €3/per person/night!! |

Excellent staff. This is essentially a hotel for business and mainly conferences and lacks any warmth or atmosphere. Whilst it has the usual facilities the rooms are characterless, there was no hotel information in the room, no room service and nowhere to get a coffee. OK for a one night stay but not a hotel for an extended stay or for kids. |

The location. The hotel is situated just outside the city of Groningen near all the highways. During 2-night stay, the first evening wifi-hotspots down => no internet until 1:00am. As senior ICT consultant I tried to help receptionist with her support call to KPN. Appeared the hotel only receives support during office hours. No minibar and no room service! Second day of my stay i wanted to order a sandwich later in the evening. Receptionist told me only still available in the downstairs bar. Getting dressed and arriving in the bar, the bartender told me there was nothing to order. Seemed like the focus was more on finding out who at reception misinformed me, then helping an unpleased customer. So service and facilities are not what i expected unfortunately. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. |

It was a nice clean place. The staff were courteous. Some services unavailable (changing money for example). A bit far from the city center and a longish walk to the bus-stop. The room was a little small for a 'double'. |

Nicely located in a park, just outside the city. Food (restaurant) was very good, both breakfast and diner. Free internet connection. Contrary to description, no fitness (sports) facilities, except swimming pool. |

Breakfast and lunch variety was very good. Spacious, bright and airy lobby/lounge area. Excellent grounds and walks around the lakes. Indoor swimming pool. Bedrooms very small and lacking in appliances in rooms - ie - hairdryer and iron (not that there would be enough space for an ironing board in the room) these had to be requested and collected from reception. No fridge available for medication (diabetic insulin) or special dietary foods (coeliac / gluten free medical diet). The kitched cold storage room was suggested...! If there was a fridge for these available at the reception back room at very least it would offer some easier access - albeit inconvenient. These medical conditions are quite common and not at all chosen by the "victims" - unlike vegetarianism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have found that here is very little understanding of medical diets internationally. A market yet to exploit?? |

Easy to check in after booking through booking.com. Plenty of parking space. Very poorly connected to the city centre through only one public bus line (I wouldn't recommend the hotel for that reason). The nearest bus stop was a quite a way from the hotel (very unpleasant under the rain) and then the bus route is quite a distance to the city centre. The hotel should have a direct shuttle bus, at least to the other Hamspshire hotel in city centre. Access to the hotel is poorly advertised on the site. Access to the hotel from the motorway and v.v. is quite a challenge, primarily because it is poorly advertised. |

Nice hotel, not expansive. Good breakfast, clean room, wireless internet. Lake and small forest is in 5 minutes walk. Hotel located not so close to the city center, but there is a bus 6 going there. |

Near Groningen. Good parking. Nice lakes and walking areas next to the hotel.Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast OK. Nice view from the room. Normally when you have a swimming pool you also have showers ( female/male) and a locker for your things - here only showers next to pool for all and no lockers to be locked. I would assume the hair drier in the room for this level hotel. |

The hotel is a very modern glassy building, staff are very nice and helpful. There's a nice pool. The view was beautiful. The wireless internet worked well from my room at floor number 6. There was no fridge in my room (but there might be other rooms with fridges - since when I went down to the lobby to ask for ice they asked me if I don't have a fridge...). Though the sheets were clean at the day I arrived, they never replaced them afterwards (for 4 days!). I even damped the sheets on the floor and they only made the bed and didn't replace any sheets. The hotel is a bit far from city center. The nearest bus station is a 10 minute walk. The only bus that's there (number 6) will take you to the central bus/train station and city center. It's a good value for money hotel if you want a quiet place. |

Hotel was nice and clean. Architecture was interesting. Pretty views from the room. Lobby was large. Late check out allowed for 10 euros. Wireless internet did not work. Not enough towels or staff. I didn't see one house keeper and the reception clerk was trying to take care of everyone and everything. Nice guy though. |
