Beds. First impression of the rooms and bathrooms. Cheaper parking nearby through hotel. Including pretty good breakfast. Nearby the city center.
Location is not that good, criminal around the hotel. Second impression of the bathrooms, is not that good finished and not every. Thing is working good.
The girls on the reception are very kind and they always help you at any time . The hotel is located in very quit area. Clean hotel Good Breakfast collection
WIFI signal inside the rooms are very poor
room is large and breakfast is good
wifi is nit stateable, shower is weak. Ask for a piece of soap but staff told me went out to buy it by myself from supermarket.
Good breakfast and nice staff very good value for money.
The room looked out over the hotel garden which was really scruffy and dirty. There were pipes humming and the air con control unit for the room was missing which wAs a shame because somebody somewhere in this non smoking hotel was obviously smoking and it could be smelly and stuffy because of that in the room.
the location, spacious clean rooms with big bathroom (shower and tub) fridge, nice breakfast selection, strong wifi in the room.
Very noisy (above main street), we have been given a room in a house next door (not the actual hotel), there were steep stairs and no elevator - not suitable for anyone with climbing problem. The served eggs were always cold.
Far from everything... Unfriendly staff. Elevator was ridiculously slow... Terrible smell in the room. Dirty carpeting, full of stains. Uncomfortable and small beds. Close to an avenue, so constant noise of cars all night.
Close to the center. Parking possibilities. Arrival until 23:00 but flexibility had been given. Fine breakfast. Large room, Bed OK.
Consider not using the parking over-night when it is free in the street as this is a flat rate per hour. Quite a few moskitos to deal with on that day. TV didn't work.
It is situation just near a tram stop 1 km away from Rotterdam Centraal. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds and the price was good. Breakfast is was diverse and nice.
Wifi was not working well at all times and continuously. Room size is a bit small and lamps beside bed were not working.
Modern stylish room
Road noise at front
Staff was helpfull
Room was extremely small!! It was a size of the doghouse. Parking was too expensive.
* The only saving grace for this hotel was that the internet was reasonable and I was able to stream videos from such services as youtube and netflix.
* I have returned home with no less than 16 quite large poisoned & itchy lumps which I am completely certain I got from the hotel mattress. When I arrived at the hotel I had a lay down on the bed for about an hour and very shortly after this started noticing itchy lumps over the arm and leg on the side I had been laying on. Needless to say this had a horrible impact on my stay. I found them very sore and itchy and they also look disgusting. * Secondly, upon arrival my bathroom smelled fine although clearly a lot of air freshener had been used. I stayed for 2 nights. As time went on a very foul smell built up in the bathroom to the point I couldn't even bare to shower in there on the morning of my departure. Disgusting. * My general impression of the hotel and room upon arrival was that it is very run down & the staff were rude and loudly talking and messed around in their native language while I was trying to check in (which took a rather long time).
Nice large bedroom along with a nice and clean large bathroom. Friendly staff, secure car park only 5 min walk from hotel. excellent location. 10 min walk from town center. decent breakfast.
Close to city centre
No cafés, resturants or bars near hotel.
Close proximity to the city centre, good moderate accommodation for family, single or couples on a budget. Close to multicultural areas of Rotterdam.
Clean bedroom. Big bathroom. Great central position. Great wifi connection
Traffic noisy outside 24 h a day. Bad organized spaces in bedroom. For 44 euros a night breakfast is too poor. No working lift. Unbelivable request when you check in; never happens in my thousands hotels slept . They ask you to sign a declaration in which if some smoke will come out from bathroom to bedroom, a smoke alarm starts and than you have to pay 250 euros! How is possible to accept such uncomfortable situation from a customer that only pay to sleep without any problem and in peace!? Only for this I had a bad feeling all my days slept there. This is really crazy. This deserve to put hotel value under 4 points
Staff were pleasant, breakfast spread good
Room small. Shower only dribbled, didn't de-mist so had to keep door shut for hours and couldn't use mirror etc. Stairs up to room were perilous!!!
good breakfast, cozy, big and quiet room, comfortable bed, kettler in the room.nice view to internal garden and trees.
location in azian part of town:no supermarket with not-azian food near...,absence of lift that can be problem if bagage is heavy ( not our case)
room with balcony to the internal garden was very good, big, cozy and quiet room, good sleeping .....good breakfast
some mosquitos in the night from the garden probably( but we have kept bacony door open,as we used to do). only asia siupermarkets near.
Large room, large bathroom, fridge and coffee / tea maker. Location near central station and included breakfast
small stairs to the room (lift wasn't working) but not big deal.
Parking too far from the hotel (10 min walk) for 11€ per day+25€ deposit for the parking key. Very dangerous dutch stairs to reach the rooms, no elevator. Annoying buzz during breakfast. Too much noise from the main street and from other rooms. Bad city location, it seems not to be safe walking to the city centrum (30 min by walk) after 8 o'clock from the hotel, so you indeed need a taxi.
Breakfast was one Some employees were really nice
location, breakfest, WiFi, staff, very quiet place
elevator does not work and sometimes strange smell in bathroom
Close to shops and restaurants.
We were put in an adjoining buidling, not elevator to carry a heavy suitcase to the third floor. Noisy and without an AC.
We used the hotel as a base for the family whilst racing in the world championships in Rotterdam The area isn't the best but for a no frills base with good access to local shops it suited us well
The walk from the garage at 10.30pm
Nothing really, initially the price seemed attractive but I could have got a similar 4 night stay at he Maritime Hotel (which we later discovered was a much better class of hotel and in a fantastic location), for the same price!!
Our first rooms were in a house, which reeked of tobacco(?) smoke, along the street, up 3 flights of very narrow spiral / twisting stairs. We complained and were eventually moved after 1 night to the main hotel where there was elevator access to our rooms. We think the staff including the manager have had personality by-passes. Not very friendly, sympathetic to our concerns or particularly helpful. The location was not great (especially if you have a car) and is next to a charity mission for "the less fortunate" . There is pay and display parking outside which is free from 23:00hrs - 09:00hrs but the hotel staf tell you that you cannot park there They prefer to charge you 11Euro / day for their own on-site parking. The "On-site parking" is definitely NOT on site, but about 350metres away in a secure parking garage. You have to get the parking key from reception each time you use it and take it straight back. We were told there was only one key but this was a lie. The breakfast was continental which is fine but the food was not the best quality and if anything ran out the staff were not keen to replenish it before the end of the sitting. After one night we raised our concerns to the staff regarding our rooms but didn't feel that they were taking us seriously and we were quite prepared to forfeit the cost of our stay and find alternative accomodation, to the point where we had our bags packed in the car and were handing our room keys back in at reception. However, we decided to stay after being offered rooms in the main hotel.
