Staff was helpfull
Room was extremely small!! It was a size of the doghouse. Parking was too expensive.
Nice large bedroom along with a nice and clean large bathroom. Friendly staff, secure car park only 5 min walk from hotel. excellent location. 10 min walk from town center. decent breakfast.
Close to city centre
No cafés, resturants or bars near hotel.
Close proximity to the city centre, good moderate accommodation for family, single or couples on a budget. Close to multicultural areas of Rotterdam.
Clean bedroom. Big bathroom. Great central position. Great wifi connection
Traffic noisy outside 24 h a day. Bad organized spaces in bedroom. For 44 euros a night breakfast is too poor. No working lift. Unbelivable request when you check in; never happens in my thousands hotels slept . They ask you to sign a declaration in which if some smoke will come out from bathroom to bedroom, a smoke alarm starts and than you have to pay 250 euros! How is possible to accept such uncomfortable situation from a customer that only pay to sleep without any problem and in peace!? Only for this I had a bad feeling all my days slept there. This is really crazy. This deserve to put hotel value under 4 points
Staff were pleasant, breakfast spread good
Room small. Shower only dribbled, didn't de-mist so had to keep door shut for hours and couldn't use mirror etc. Stairs up to room were perilous!!!
good breakfast, cozy, big and quiet room, comfortable bed, kettler in the room.nice view to internal garden and trees.
location in azian part of town:no supermarket with not-azian food near...,absence of lift that can be problem if bagage is heavy ( not our case)
room with balcony to the internal garden was very good, big, cozy and quiet room, good sleeping .....good breakfast
some mosquitos in the night from the garden probably( but we have kept bacony door open,as we used to do). only asia siupermarkets near.
Large room, large bathroom, fridge and coffee / tea maker. Location near central station and included breakfast
small stairs to the room (lift wasn't working) but not big deal.
Parking too far from the hotel (10 min walk) for 11€ per day+25€ deposit for the parking key. Very dangerous dutch stairs to reach the rooms, no elevator. Annoying buzz during breakfast. Too much noise from the main street and from other rooms. Bad city location, it seems not to be safe walking to the city centrum (30 min by walk) after 8 o'clock from the hotel, so you indeed need a taxi.
Breakfast was one Some employees were really nice
location, breakfest, WiFi, staff, very quiet place
elevator does not work and sometimes strange smell in bathroom
Close to shops and restaurants.
We were put in an adjoining buidling, not elevator to carry a heavy suitcase to the third floor. Noisy and without an AC.
We used the hotel as a base for the family whilst racing in the world championships in Rotterdam The area isn't the best but for a no frills base with good access to local shops it suited us well
The walk from the garage at 10.30pm
Nothing really, initially the price seemed attractive but I could have got a similar 4 night stay at he Maritime Hotel (which we later discovered was a much better class of hotel and in a fantastic location), for the same price!!
Our first rooms were in a house, which reeked of tobacco(?) smoke, along the street, up 3 flights of very narrow spiral / twisting stairs. We complained and were eventually moved after 1 night to the main hotel where there was elevator access to our rooms. We think the staff including the manager have had personality by-passes. Not very friendly, sympathetic to our concerns or particularly helpful. The location was not great (especially if you have a car) and is next to a charity mission for "the less fortunate" . There is pay and display parking outside which is free from 23:00hrs - 09:00hrs but the hotel staf tell you that you cannot park there They prefer to charge you 11Euro / day for their own on-site parking. The "On-site parking" is definitely NOT on site, but about 350metres away in a secure parking garage. You have to get the parking key from reception each time you use it and take it straight back. We were told there was only one key but this was a lie. The breakfast was continental which is fine but the food was not the best quality and if anything ran out the staff were not keen to replenish it before the end of the sitting. After one night we raised our concerns to the staff regarding our rooms but didn't feel that they were taking us seriously and we were quite prepared to forfeit the cost of our stay and find alternative accomodation, to the point where we had our bags packed in the car and were handing our room keys back in at reception. However, we decided to stay after being offered rooms in the main hotel.
location is perfect: 5 min from the train station and 10-15 min from the city centre by foot breakfast is also fine: yoghurts, cornflakes, different kinds of cheese, ham, bread, some vegetables and fruits, hot disches - only scrambled, boiled and fried eggs, variety of coffee, tea and pastry the rooms is cleand every day
The biggest positive about this small hotel is the location near the station, near the center of the town. It is small one but very clean with good staff and a nice place with variety for breakfast. It is a good hotel pretty fair for the price.
I don't like its tiny stairs, so watch out if you've got big feet.
Good location, pretty close to the city center, about 15 min walking and also close to the central station. Clean and nice breakfast as well.
Nice small hotel with friendly staff.
Bathroom was reasonably modern but shoddy
nice room,very good bed
Very close to central station, main sights are easily accessable, even on foot. The hotel and the room were spacey and comfortable. The breakfast was more than plenty and varied.
The lady attitude at the reception. She wasn't helpful at all.
Very good breakfast with many options and tasty. Spacious room and very clean bathroom.
Noise made by main door when somebody was entering the hotel with card. My room was just above them so I was wake at each time.
has elevator. good breakfast.
uncomfortable bed- too soft. the hallway smell bad. Once, while I was inside the room, the lady manager used her card to open my room and held the door open while talking to a guy in their language, which shocked me, but she didn't offer any apology for that, maybe she assumed she is free to open the door of your hotel room at anytime? broken hair dryer. lights went off twice.
The employees are polite and professional.
The manager is not so amid.
