The Hotel Nassau Bergen is located on top of a dune and right at the beautiful and wide North Sea beach (Noordzeestrand).

There is a cosy bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Our guests can use the heated outdoor pool with a sun terrace and a sheltered garden for free from the beginning of May till September.

The hotel features a cosy bar and a restaurant; a great place for an extensive lunch buffet, an excellent à la carte dinner or a surprise menu. For groups, we offer custom arrangements. In summertime, you can enjoy your dinner in our conservatory restaurant, offering a view of the ocean and the option of dining outside.

The hotel has 40 comfortable, non-smoking rooms; 16 standard rooms, 19 deluxe rooms and 5 junior suites. All rooms are fitted with a shower or a bath tub and comfortable beds in addition to modern amenities.
The rooms offer a view of the ocean or a view of the picturesque village in the middle of the dunes as well as an electronic safety deposit box.
The majority of the rooms have been renovated in the last two years.

Deluxe rooms can be distinguished from the standard rooms by atmosphere, a balcony or terrace, size and facilities. A number of deluxe rooms feature a connecting door, which also makes it a perfect family room.

Junior suites are wonderfully spacious rooms. They all feature a spacious balcony or terrace. The junior suites are also suitable as a family room. The room has enough space for 2 extra beds and a baby cot.

Area information

As Hotel 'Nassau-Bergen' is located so close to the ocean, this hotel is especially suited for people who love the beach. Tanning and swimming when the weather is good, or getting a breath of fresh air by going for a walk on the beach. There's a heated outdoor pool in the hotel’s garden, surrounded by a beautiful sun terrace, which our guests can use for free during the summer.

People who love biking, walking, sailing with a catamaran and windsurfing will love it at Hotel ‘Nassau-Bergen’. There are four tennis courts and a miniature golf course in the vicinity of the hotel and within 7 km there's a complete golf course (Sluispolder 9 holes / 18 holes).

The artists' village of Bergen is definitely worth a visit: nice shops, numerous art galleries and cosy restaurants and bars. A round trip of the canals in Alkmaar, experiencing the Kaasmarkt (cheese market) or a city tour through the beautiful old centre are just a small selection of the many possibilities you have to actively enjoy your stay here.

- Take the N9 (ring road of Alkmaar) and the N510 (Bergerweg) to Bergen
- In the centre of Bergen follow the signs to Bergen aan Zee
- The hotel is situated in Bergen aan Zee on top of the dunes to the left of the roundabout

From Den Helder:

- Take the N250 and the N9 to Alkmaar
- Take the N510 (Bergerweg) to Bergen
- In the centre of Bergen follow the signs to Bergen aan Zee
- The hotel is situated in Bergen aan Zee on top of the dunes to the left of the roundabout

From Enkhuizen:

- Take the N302 and the A7 to Amsterdam and the A8 to Alkmaar
- Then take the N8 and the A9 to Alkmaar
- After the roundabout in Alkmaar take the N9 (ring road of Alkmaar) and then the N510 (Bergerweg) to Bergen
- In the centre of Bergen follow the signs to Bergen aan Zee
- The hotel is situated in Bergen aan Zee on top of the dunes to the left of the roundabout

By bus:

The hotel can be reached by bus from the railway station of Alkmaar. Take line 160 to Bergen aan Zee.
