Katwijk. historically known as a rustic fishermanvillage, has not lost its authentic sphere yet, despite its location in the heart of the randstad, go and have a look in the 'Katwijks Museum'. Directly in front of the hotel there is a clean and broad beach, and at the edge of Katwijk you can find a widespread sand dunes and nature area that is cut out for anyone who appreciates peace and tranquility.

A stay in Katwijk means enjoying the fresh air, the broad and clean beach and the sea. There is a lot to do; walking, cycling, painting on the beach, sporting, visiting the Katwijk museum or a fun attraction.
For young adolescents, seniors, families with little children or groups, there is something to do for everybody in every season. The old Dutch city Leiden has a large value of historical culture; the monumental facades and the canals are a feast for the eyes. Amsterdam and Den Hague are nearby.
• Coming from Amsterdam via the A4 and the A44 going to Leiden, follow De Hague Centre. Take the exit 'Leiden, Utrecht, Valkenburg, Katwijk' and go to Katwijk via the N206.
• Coming from De Hague via the N44 that overlaps the A44 going to Leiden, Amsterdam take the exit 'Leiden, Valkenburg, Katwijk, Noordwijk' and go to Katwijk via the N206.
• Take the exit for Katwijk aan Zee after about 2 km. Turn left at the streetlights. Go straight ahead untill the Boulevard. Turn left when you have arrived there. You will see the hotel at your lefthand-side after 150 m. For check-in and/or the (un)loading of your car, you can make use of the parkingplaces that are in front of the entrance of Hotel Noordzee in the Voorstraat.
