Vicinity to mecc (even if the nh is even closer, or better direct beside the mecc). Change of room after complaint (bathroom) was without problems even if it was announced as "free change" and the lady on the last day wanted 30 Euro per night extra for the "better room" - was discussed easy and without further costs. Definitely not a 4-star. And even the better room with the NOT-life- endangering bathroom was (best measured) 3 star and for sure not more. Breakfast is extra (total mainstream) and costs for a very reduced availability and quality 16 Euro(!) Coffee at the bar is made by receptionists (quality depends on their knowledge and skills - ranged from really awful - "ok for dutch coffee") Bathroom was so awful (mold, smell etc) that I changed the room even if I had a very exhausting travel - I am normally used to budget-rooms but this was not ok. Strange: You have to pay in advance for the whole stay...

The hotel was very close to a train stop and it was only one stop away from the main station of Maastricht. The breakfast in the morning was good. We were also lucky to get free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is next to a college and hospital. The hotel was converted from a college dormitory. They have made some really nice updates to make it feel like a hotel.

Unfriendly staff. Choose this hotel because of excellent location for start of cycle event, like many others, but hotel staff did not seem to be very flexible for this kind of events. Understaffed on the check-in night before, breakfast time as usual meaning too late for early starters like myself, complaining about bikes in the hotel.. Hotel can do quite a good business on days like this but does not seem to care at all. Although the rooms are good, I won't come back here.

Easy acces to MECC and train station, breakfast okay The condition of the bathroom and entrance of the room was a bit disappointing, not very clean impression and no luxury. Room no. 358. Bedroom was okay. I missed the fresh orange juice in the morning at breakfast. Previous year it was still available.

This hotel is not exactly 4 star hotel! Bad facilities, dirty and small room! It is actually a student dormitory! Also, terribly bad wifi connection. The staff is not friendly when making complaint about the WiFi. The elevator is outside the lobby, it is small and inconvinient. I will never stay in this hotel anymore!!!! Having very bad experience there!! The cost performance index is too low!!!

One member of staff at reception was rather rude, which I would not expect from a hotel staff at all. We chose this place only because everything else reasonably priced was busy. For the price we paid this is poor value for money.

We like the fact that at the room there was a little attention for the dog. Nice suggest and I never saw this before in other holes. Breakfast was excellent, there was even champagne and salmon and the famous limburgse tarte.

i liked the fact that they had an small bag with emergency stuff like toothbrush etc. the room was nice, the desk was perfect for business. the room and bathroom were clean. personell was nice. the fact that the internetconnection was not working properly. i felt like they did not take this need seriously. they just kept saying it should work instead of saying they were sorry about the bad connection.

We were put into a family room because we have 2 children. I thought it felt like a dorm room atmosphere and was told it is because they do use soom of the rooms as dorms. You need a key to get into the main area and a key to get into each room. There are 2 seperate rooms sharing a common area with a shower and toilet. The room was clean. Parking cost 8 euro a day and is gated, but limited. There is free parking near by, but there was something happening at the Conference center next to the hotel, so no free parking was available. It is walking distance to the Conference center and the train station. Breakfast is expensive at 13 euro per person and there is not a huge variety available to pick from. Expensive Breakfast.

The room was dirty, carpet with stains, the service was really terrible with extremely rude staff, who were unpolite in answering any of my queries. In particular, you are getting charged before checking in (that is in advance), and charged more than the advertised price (I was quoted euro 365 for the whole stay with taxes, but was charged euro 410 for no understandable reason). It was advertised that there is internet in this hotel available - well, for the 90% of my stay, which was business related, I did not have internet connection in either my room or in the lobby, and any of my requests for assistance / remedying this issue were ignored until the last day, when some limited connection (I.E. "low signal") was provided. On my day of check out, I was having breakfast - which by the was is really poor selection - there was a lady vacuuming right where the food is, and when I asked whether it is at least possible to stay away with dirty appliances from the food, the receptionist rudely replied that if I have any issues I should speak to the manager, who would not be in before 9.30 (which of course was after the time of my check out).

Location near Randwyck train station, only a few minutes from central Maastricht. Near mecc and azm. Breakfast not included in price (€ 13,- P.P.P.N.) which may make the total price less attractive.

It's also a student dormitory within the University of Maastricht campus. There's nothing in the vicinity except students and students' activities. I enjoy being mixed with the students in the um student canteen at the end of the street. The price of food there is half of those in the city centre, but it tastes better! It's a mere 2 minute train ride from the Maastricht Central Station which is fine with us, but do not expect any activity in the hotel area. Got to work on the toilet bowls!

I consider this hotel as appropriate for its basic function: providing an overnight stay without much luxury. The design is not very nice. The layout of the appartment is strange with a huge hall The carpet definitely needs updating. I was also glad that outside temperatures were mild because it is hard to cool the window (no ac).

Hotel need many engagement in genearl services and room cleaning compare to nh same place it cost almost the same but no compassion between both hotel as nh hotel was excellent

The rooms were very comfortable and all the staff we encountered were very pleasant. The price per night was also very competitive. I thought that the price for the breakfast was to expensive. At a cost of 16 euro pp it seems a bit excessive and consequently I did not have any breakfast but elected to go into town for a more realistic priced meal.
