It was home away from home. I was travelling with my parents and had booked a quad room. The room was cozy, clean with all facilities including a sauna at no additional charges. The staff were very warm as expected from most people in Amsterdam. The hotel is old with rich history but with modern facilities. Cheerful rooms and clean. Would certainly recommend to all travelling with family. The rooms in front of the hotel are a little noisy

Our room was small, but lovely position at back of hotel and very quiet. The staff were very helpful. It is very close to the trams that go straight to the bus/train station.

Nice hotel with lovely lobby/reading and dining rooms. The single room I stayed in was basic but clean and comfortable, with a really nice en suite. The decor in my room was a bit tired, but the furniture made the best use of available space, and a mini fridge and tea/coffee was provided. A tram route passes the front of the hotel and this did cause some noise until maybe 12.30am, starting again at 7am or so, but I got used to it after a night or two. Wifi was excellent, with no problem connecting and decent speeds, and worked great for uploading pics to Facebook and Flickr. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rembrandt and would definitely recommend it.

Very good: Not so far from the center and there is a tram stop very nearly; The staff is very friendly; There is free Wi-Fi but I was not able to connect with my smartphone and my tablet, I don’t know why, maybe the password was incorrect. Breakfast is good but nearly there is a "coffee @ company" (Plantage Muidergracht, 69) very nice where you can use the Wi-Fi; Although small the room was comfortable, but you're going to Amesterdam to go around. Finally there is the Nespresso coffee machine in the breakfastroom! The wi-fi: strangely I could not connect to the internet.

Great price, location and cleanliness. For some reason, though, they were cheap about renewing soap and shampoo in they shower every day.

Hotel Rembrandt was in a pretty good location to many of the Amsterdam attractions. The hotel staff was knowledable & helpful when it came to parking for a decent price-that was greatly appreciated. I felt safe and comfortable at the hotel and I really like that there was someone in the front office 24 hours a day. The room was clean and the bedding was clean & in good shape. I appreciated the beds being made & fresh towels each day. The bathrooms weren't cleaned too well. I felt like there was a lot of grime on the tile floor. the toilet flusher kept falling off the wall (we were in room 8). I personally don't care for the Rembrant painting covering the entire wall behind the beds, but that's my opinion and don't necessarily expect everyone to feel the same.

Nice location next to the Artis zoo, where the eerie cries of jungle birds sound through the urban landscape. Great breakfast room with the setting of a rich mechant at the turn of the century (the turn from 19th ot 20th that is).

The hotel was convenient for my business meeting and the city centre (on the Tram 9 route), was comfortable for an overnight stay, and has free wifi internet access. Room 8 has a spectacular wall-size print of "The Night Watch". The breakfast is not included and is a little expensive (although certainly not as excessive as some hotels). The television was an old 14" CRT (if you would intend to use it).

It had a pleasant bed-and-breakfast feel, very personal and pleasant and very well located--a short walk to Waterloopleine [which has lots of restaurants and sights] and two steps from tram 9 which takes you right to the heart of most sights you want to see--or to connections for those sights. I was there in january. My room was on the ground floor, with a large glass window [or french door] so it got pretty cold at times. Not unbearable but quite chilly at night.

Nice, quiet location, not too far from city centre (10 mins on tram - right outside hotel). Close to the zoo and botannical gardens, so good for kids. Our room (no 2) was big, beds comfy, bathroom good, little balcony. Breakfast room was nicely styled, big, comfy and breakfast was great. Reception was helpful and open all night.

The staff were friendly and it was just across from the metro stop. The room was freezing when we arrived( end of November) It was also tiny and there were no extra blankets or pillows. The picture on the tv was all fuzzy. We were disappointed by the decor and style of the room as it advertised many beautiful Rembrandt themed rooms, whereas the decor in our room was on the cheap side of "contemporary" I.E. it was just like any 1990s budget hotel room. Don't be fooled by the photos! Another serious disadvantage was the narrow, steap stairs, we struggled to get our bags up onto the first floor.

Central and welcoming. Single rooms are never big in the first place and this is no exception. Add that it is in an old building (one of the resons you come to Amsterdam, isn't it?), so next time I would go for a twin or a double as it doesn't cost all that much more.

The room and location of the hotel are very nice. We lived in room No. 1. And what we liked most was an exit to the back yard with chairs, benches and other facilities for relaxing from our room. If you are a smoker you may find this convenient as well. Unfortunately the room does not have windows, just door to the back yard. Still it is very comfortable and clean. The towels were changed every day. There are good facilities for tea or coffee break in the room (kettle, two cups, two glasses, spoons, etc.). All in all we liked this hotel very much. If we go to Amsterdam one more time we will definitely stay in "Rembrandt".
