the location on the water, good breakfast, nice apartment kitchen if you want to bring your own food, comfortable bed the noise of trains, traffic, and restaurant staff. Also, the bathroom had a bad smell and there was a window that could not shut so we were cold. Our apartment was out back, requiring passage through outside to get to reception and there was no phone to call them and request help with the window. |

Nice location overlooking the canal in a small village... busy traffic in the morning and afternoon, but very quiet at night. A few small things were in need of repair in our room, but non the less, it was comfortable. |

I liked the atmospheres although my stay was very short, and the staff was very friendly. I’m planning to stay longer next year to enjoy Wormerveer. I would like the management at the Hotel to take care of the shower tap, I know it is little problem and should be fixed so they’ll 10/10. |

Good location Deceptive pricing of the room; we wanted to book an apartment for 4 of us, they were able to provide this room. It was stated that the apartment was for 4 people and the price included this. When paying, 40% extra had been added for beds for 2 of the guests. We have no problem paying the money, however, the principle of deceptively lowering prices to attract customers leaves a bitter after taste. |

The apartment was very nice and there had anything that we have need It was a little bid noisy around hotel, because of workers in a new building close to hotel. |

A very charming hotel. Surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. 15k from Amsterdam. Train station is a quick walk. My 3 children had no complaints and we were only charged 5 euro per person extra. The rates are excellent and worth being outside the city. Walls are thin but only a problem when they have receptions at night. |

Huis Te Zaanen is a very nice hotel outside of Amsterdam. I'm sorry I missed the dinner, which looked wonderful. It is only 3 minutes from the train station. |

Was nice having some space in the "appartment" section,even though compared to North America it was very simple. TV was ancient,no DVD player and no proper phone in the appartment. |

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, right near the train station. We had a large room that was very clean and had a nice bathroom. The room was at the front of the hotel and overlooked the river. We enjoyed walking in the town and we were surprised to see such nice shops there. Nice town to visit - people were very friendly. Loved the restaurant - nicely decorated and breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again. Improve lighting in room. |
