Good location, kind and friendly staff, close to the city centre. Our room was clean, nice, with a balcony. Towels, soap are provided. The bathroom was clean with a spacious shower. Breakfast was not included in our price, but we pay an extra for it. The buffet breakfast was really good. Good bakery products, warm coffee, salmon, fresh fruit, yogurt and so on. Stairs are steep, but this is a common attribute of houses in the Netherlands.

the staff very helpful and cheerful It would have got higher praise if it had a lift, we had 36 steps to climb every time we got back. There was no kettle, but did have hob, micro, saucepans. Also there was no complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & milk

A small hotel, very conveniently located in a pleasant part of the city. The staff (including a gentleman I presumed to be the owner) were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, served in a bright and artistic setting on the ground floor. My single room was small but very adequate for a short stay. The separate facilities (shower; toilet) were close to my room and were in immaculate condition. In this old building, there is no lift and the staircase to the first floor is very steep. Travellers with heavy luggage and those with restricted mobility would find this very difficult. But this was not a problem for me (and in any case the receptionist kindly offered to carry my bag).

Very lovely hotel room. Small but very clean and stylish. Good location, right next to tram, and 10 mins max walking distance to centre. Bathroom was outside the room, but did not bother me at all, very clean and available. Great stay for the short time I was there.

The most charming staff I have met in a long time during all my travels.. They made us feel as part of family and bent over backwards to help us. The location : perfect....2 small restos either side. one BIG problem, both my husband and I cannot climb stairs too well, we were on 3rd floor, but they helped us with luggage up and down. Pronised us : next x the first floor...hiw can we miss ?? It was fun to be there.... Femke Young. Obviously : no elevator !!! And possible the price of their breakfast.: 12.50 euros.pp F. Young.

The reception and in general the common areas on the bottom floor are really nice. The staff was very kind and friendly. The single rooms are maybe a bit too small. Luckily I did not have much luggage, other wise it would have probably been a problem.

Very very friendly staff. Big dutch style appartments with stairs, fireplace, balcony, heated floors, huge lcd tv in every room.. 5 min walk to the hague central station.. We planned to stay for a weekend, but changed our plans and stayed for a week.. I can say nothing about breakfast as we woke up after 12 every day and always late for the breakfast..

Lovely staff, the room was just perfect for me! Great location, so easy to get to from Station Centraal. Will stay there again when I am next in Den Haag, no doubt! Good price for the budget traveller as well.

Difficult to say, nothing outstanding, although big windows opening out from apartment were a bonus Had to wait over 2 hours until room was cleaned in order to check- in. The apartment is spacious but not particularly well stocked, there are pots and pans but no cooker, only microwave, need to climb 3 flights of steep Dutch narrow stairs, there is no privacy for taking shower, E.g if staying with another couple or older family members. Only one dining chair and one cheap plastic chair on balcony. Poor bedside lighting provision. I book apartments a lot and accept that you often get what you pay for. On this occassion I felt I got much less than I paid for but what really rankled was how the management staff after keeping us waiting kept enthusing about how great the apartment was. Spacious and bright yes, but overpriced for facilities. Made worse by having just left an extremely nice, well stocked apartment in Amsterdam that was considerably cheaper.

Decent value for money. Hotel staff were extremely friendly- one walked me down the street to show me where the tram stop was. I didn't expect much in the "compact" room but the bed was comfortable, large T.V, dressing gown etc. Would stay again. Small room but I expected it to be as it's called a compact room! A tile on the ceiling off.

The room was very extremely clean, and everything seemed brand-new, but still had a cosy, homely feel to it. Staff very friendly and helpful, and it's only a short walk into the centre of town, or a short tram-ride to the beach.

Everything is wonderful, the best hotel if you do not want to be luxurious. Shared toilet and bathroom is good. Stairs is too narrow, though it is quite common in Den Haag. No desk in my room. Breakfast is not free.

“I enjoyed my stay at the Park Hotel very much. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, and the breakfast was excellent. Its location in the centre of the old city was perfect for visiting the Mauritshuis & the Historical Museum, which was the purpose of my visit, and also for walking around this delightful old city.” Heather, Petersfield |
