I loved the decoration, specially the bean bag, fluffly cushions and extremelly confy bed. The breakfast was very fresh and yummy! Clean towels daily is also a plus in my opinion ;) |

I chose the Victorie Hotel mainly because of its location. The hotel staff is extremely courteous; the hotel itself is a converted town house. It is like staying in a guestroom at a friend of a friends house. |

location high temperature in the room, they have airconditioning but this is fixed at 20 degrees and they are not willing to install it so that you can lower the temperature (and to open the windows was not possible because of street noise). Also TV is not working well at all, did not get fixed after complaints. |

Room was clean with nice balcony with court view. Very helpful and friendly staff. Sufficient breakfast. However there is no lift and the stairs were very steap, but it's usually in Amsterdam's tiny houses. The staff helped us with baggage to the room, so no problem. The walls should be more soundproofed. When you meet a group of yelling sottish Englishmen (you meet them everytime in every hotel in whole Europe) is hard to sleep. |

Very functional hotel, design, and a very nice area and close to the center. Although it looks a little bit far, you have 3 trams (number 4, 25 and 12) every 15 minutes to go to the center so in 10 minutes maximum you can find yourself in the flower market. Do not expect to have a super design boutique hotel although is design and very nice. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. |

The design was very nice and breakfast was extra fun I was very far from the center of town, actually almost in a suburb. We had to take a tram which stopped running at a certain hour. It was mostly in a residential area without any restaurants nearby for dinner. I would say it was nice spot if you have a car. |

Polite and friendly staff, complete breakfast. Hotel was clean and comfort. we had a great stay there. There are no signs "please do not disturb" or "please make my room" on the door knob. The staff may knock and ask for room service when you are in the room. |

Very close to tram stop (5 min walk) which brings you to the city centre and central station in about 15 to 20 minutes, very good breakfast buffet included in price, friendly and helpful staff, nice room towards the garden/terrace (thus very calm - as we had asked for - and it was soothing to have a view on that huge tree that stands there), cleanliness of the room, a "real" double bed with one... Big problem: The bathrooms of the other hotel rooms around and above yours are incredibly noisy! It sounds weird, but we honestly woke up every morning around 7.30 because some hotel guest decided to have a shower or flush a toilet. It's as if the shower cubicle stood right next to your bed. So, no sleep-ins possible :-( Breakfast is only served until 10 (if I'm not mistaken). |

We chose this hotel because it was close to our friend's home. It's further away from central Amsterdam so I wouldn't recommend it for those who are there for a short stay but it was very trendy and had the newest yellow bicycles in town! Our room were on the street which were a bit noisy from the traffic. |

Hotel is very nice, the best one from all trips in the Netherlands. Sexy place. very good breakfast and original style. Located outside of centrum. I will prefer to stay there next time. the only thing what little bit disappointed - Internet in reception. There is Apple and I had first time that kind of problem with his mashine - the surfing in Internet where several times somehow interrupt. |

The staff at the hotel were really welcoming. While the hotel itself is somewhat basic (allthough clean and comfortable) relative to typical hotels for business travel, they more then made up for it! For personal travel (when an employer is not paying the bill) I believe this hotel offers a very good balance between cost and comfort. |

Convenient, less bland and faceless than most hotels. Evidently converted from apartments. It has typically Dutch steep stairs, which is ok if you don't have much luggage. The (single) room is tiny! Ok to sleep in but not for much else! |
