This hotel is located a 3-minute drive from highway A10 and offers quick access to Schiphol Airport and the RAI convention center in 15 minutes. There is free parking. On weekends, the breakfast buffet is available until 12 p.m. Ibis Amsterdam City West has a bar with 24-hour snack service, a restaurant and a terrace. You can rent scooters and city bikes to explore the surroundings. The Kabelweg bus stop is a 2-minute walk away and offers direct access to Amsterdam Central Train Station and the center of the city in 20 minutes. Sloterdijk train station is 2 bus stops away. Well presented Ibis. Easy bus ride to the centre with tickets available from reception. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. There is public parking outside the hotel for between 14 and 15 euros a day but the hotel has its own covered parking for 12.50 euros. Breakfasts fine; the first evening we ate in the bar/restaurant which has a small menu at reasonable prices. Otherwise there is only the Burger King next door; on other days we ate in the centre before returning to the hotel. Room and ensuite bathroom were both very small.

Hotel staff is very willing to help. Hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel is some 10-15 mins by bus from the city centre. However, the bus is very frequent and the bus stop is 30 second walk from the hotel. Thus, it may be not convenient for someone who is used to going to the hotel few times a day during the sightseeing, but is perfect for those who dislike having a room in a crowded and noisy city centre

Reception staff was very helpful Room cleaners tried to "brake" in to the room starting from 7AM every 15 minutes. Until I got up and put DO NOT DISTURB sign. 7AM is a bit harsh, especially 3 times in 30 minutes. I do not expect them to do it before 9AM

The location is good if you travel by car. The bathroom is small, but quite functional. The rooms are small and the beds are not very good.

Although it may seem like it's far away from the city center, it is actually just a 10 min bus ride to the central station. The bus comes every 10-15 min, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. There's parking for 12.50EUR per day, and on the weekends, parking on the street is free. It is also right next to the A10 ring, so it's very accessible by car. The hotel breakfast was also surprisingly good. This Ibis is one of the better Ibis hotels out there.

Simple but all the basic commofities are there and you are not surprised (nothing special is missing, no extra costs, etc) The internet computers avalable had a very slow network and they use some software that is really bad, I couldn't open 2 windows or 2 aplications at the same time (it's possible but not practical). I was paying the computers by the hour I would expect ti be able to use the computers properly. That was not the case.

Good rooms, good staff,fair price, relatively close to city and easy to get the city with bus. To get the hotel you need a bus. It works till 0:30 every night. Bad for the city parties.

The new design of the bathrooms There are too little places for breakfast and no cleaning between the different parties. Not all visitors clean when leaving - even for the buffet is too little space. The atmosphere is like a rush in a students mensa next time there I might think of skipping breakfast

not so far from the centre of Amsterdam (approx.15min. with bus and bus stop is near to the hotel) and the room was clean enough. the breakfast room was bit small and dark.

Clean linen and rooms daily.Ease of travel into the central Amersterdam. Car Parking facility. Dinner served was luke warm on the two occasions we made use of this facility. Food was good but this spoilt it. Some staff particularly restaurant and bar very helpful and friendly. Reception staff not particularly helpful especially when it came to car-parking information, and trying to get out of Ibis`s own car park, having raised lower barrier it took 30minutes and quite a lot of intercome before we had to back down the slope and start again!. Mixed staff, some excellent, others quite surely, this said they were busy = we forgie them.
