nearby city centre,so shopping & buy something is easy,price is also available if possible, pls provide the hot water for chinese people. |

New and modern, elevator building (important in Amsterdam!). The location is, literally, above the Centraal Rail Station. We had a view of trains and the boats just beyond. However, this might not be to some people's tastes, so if not, request a room facing the city. The review lower down is backwards... Face the city, not the station. With the construction in front of the hotel and the train station, walking over to the entrance, at this time, can be a little annoying. Also, Amsterdam has so many bicycles, they are all over the sidewalk, including in front of the hotel, and on hotel property, it's really annoying. |

The New wing is much improved, fresh bedrooms, contemporary, central location especially in cold wet weather, all is near. The refurbishments have been dragging on, still parts not completed, Partly a building site. Rates are very high for such a basic hotel, unless you get a late deal. |

The hotel location was right next to the train station with trains and buses and canal boats right outside the door. But because of this, the noise was unbearable! If you stay here, ask for a room that faces away from the city. There is a brand new building. Rooms were very small, bathroom the size of a cruise ship bathroom. Noisy near elevator and vending machines. People were loud. NOISY--great location but request a room in the new building facing away from the city. Taxi cabs were honking all night long due to the taxi stand right outside our window. Also, request away from the elevator and vending machines. Loud noisy people all night long. Hotel under construction. Unfriendly staff, no concierge. Location great and worth staying there because of it. 150 Euro/night |

This hotel is very close to the central train station so we didn't have far to walk with our luggage. The rooms here are very small. I was sharing a room with friend and we were supposed to have two twin beds. The room had a double bed that could not be separated. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had a query about a parcel that was due to be couriered to us at the Ibis Hotel, and the staff member we spoke to made an enquiry for us to find out when the parcel was to be couriered, and where there office was. She really 'went the extra mile' to help us. The Hotel is still undergoing renovation and reconstruction, and so the Reception area was rather cramped at times. At that point, the floor tiles were being laid and before we left, the foyer was looking really good. No doubt some comfortable chairs and a table were going to be set out for weary people arriving at Reception. |

You don't go to Ibis for 'couleur locale' or atmosphere. Ibis A'dam Centre offers the typical Ibis standard room but there are no surprises: the rooms are clean, service is efficient, staff is friendly, and all this at a very fair rate. The location - right next to the central station with the city in front of you - is perfect. |
