The hotel was a great location for us as it is so close to the train station as well as the harbour ( we had been on a cruise)\ We enjoyed Amsterdam for a few days and it is so close to everything. This was our second stay and if we come back to Amsterdam, we will stay again. Thank you for the excellent service!!!!!!!!!

The room was just very hot - a/c did not work properly

Location Location Location - right next to the Central Station ( without any rowdy crowds or seedy feel), buses/trams/metro just in front of the station, and walking distance to a number of attractions and restaurants. Clean and modern room, bed was comfy, aircon works, bathroom compact though small, and noise cancellation was excellent as hardly able to hear the trains even though we were right above them. Free wifi throughout hotel, with PCs and printers available in the lobby.

Hotel accepted requests put in before our arrival but were unable to deliver when we checked in, using words like "we can only try, not promise". This is not common when we have a confirmed booking. Reception staff lack common knowledge like restaurant recommendations (only had a specific Italian to recommend and was generic about options), and unable/unwilling to help with tour bookings even though they were distributing the booklets from the tour agency.

It's location next to Amsterdam Central train station, 20mins away from Schiphol Airport. Lots of city sights and eateries are within walking distance. Else, trams, buses or the metro are accessible from Central Station stops. Basic clean city hotel, comfortable bed, good sound insulation that ensures street and train noises are minimised and free wifi all over the hotel. Location next to Central Station does not mean it is in a sleazy or rowdy spot, like in most other cities.

Hotel staff are overloaded and not as helpful. Some are unwilling or unable to recommend restaurants. Hotel accepts special requests submitted when booking is made, but at check-in, staff are quick to tell you they can only try but cannot promise. This is so odd since bookings have been confirmed and surely, the hotel should be able to allocate rooms before our arrival.

The Ibis is central to everything, we went to see Michael Buble in Rotterdam so we were very well positioned for everything. Also breakfast times were very good so suited all travellers. The room was small, but very functional.

The hotel was very convenient for transport access. Train station next door therefore easy to get to and fro airport. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about Amsterdam.

Nothing except location and staff was friendly.

Room is very small. Bed quality is poor. No catle or tea in room. I will never stay again with the price I paid.
