Ibis Den Haag City Centre

Closed to city centre, just one metro station away from Den Haag Central station, room decoration and facilities are good and comfortable. Front desk staff are nice and helpful.

Air-con seems working reversely(a problem with the thermostat) and no mini-bar(seems not reasonable for this class of hotel).

My expectations were not so high, since I wanted to book alow-budget stay. The hotel was really ok though, so that was a pleasant surprise.

I have stayed here many times & it never disappoints. It both reliable, friendly & efficient.

It's overdue to replace the old type TVs with good modern flatpanels with more English language channels.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast limited but sufficient. Easy access to the city and surrounding areas.

My friends who live in the Hague rang the hotel to meet with me and was told there wasn't anyone staying at the Hotel with my name,T Porter.???? Hence we did not get to see them. Very disappointed!!

The location was right in the centre, however was quite noisy at night.

The bed was literally on a wooden board with a matress dumped on top. This meant it moved all over the place and my partner and I both had backache and neck pain in the morning. The bathroom was almost like a mobile bathroom placed inside the room. The room was very hot but the air conditioning was not working so we were forced to open a window and endure the noise. Both of us were covered in bites after 2 nights there.

The room was very quiet and the price reasonable. An easy walk to the train station.

I had an early train on Saturday morning and it was impossible to get a cup of coffee at the hotel, even though an early breakfast buffet starting at 4:30 was advertised. This was misleading. Also, 24-hour snacks were advertised, but I learned that that referred to the vending machines. Misleading as well.

Breakfast was excellent.

The room was fine, although I find the prefab bathroom a bit odd.

For a smoke-free hotel, our room smelled strongly like smoke, and we needed to air it out first to make it bearable. On my next stay in the hague I'll go back to my usual hotel - breakfast is included and price is similar.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. All the staff were very nice

Lifts (only three and quite small) insufficient for hotel of this size. Long waits especially at breakfast/ check-out times

During my stay at the hotel I liked friendly and professional attitude of stuff and comfortable room with its facilities. I liked that all Ibis hotels present almost same standards so you know what to expect whenever Ibis you are staying.

Probably I would like to have parking space for bicycles in front of the hotel.

Location was perfect to take in all the sights and sounds of Den Haag. Having said that, the street was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was clean, the breakfast was very organized with excellent quality. As well, the size of the room was perfect. Pet friendly.

Since the hotel does not have space to park your vehicle, you must leave it in a enclosed city parking lot about 1/2 block away. Weren't to sure if it would be safe or not, but it turned out to be fine. Hotel offers a discount, however in my opinion parking is still very expensive.
