The Ibis Amsterdam City Stopera hotel is ideally located close to shops, the market on Waterlooplein, Dam Square and the nightlife at Rembrandtplein. The hotel has 207 modern and comfortable rooms, of which 150 rooms are 100% smoke free. There is also a restaurant with a bar and large central garden. The Ibis Amsterdam Stopera is your home away from home where you can relax from a hard day's work or from a day exploring Amsterdam.
Renovations will take place during the winter of 2008 2009 (from 10 November to 28 February). During these renovations we will endeavour to keep any inconveniences to a minimum.

We liked the channel view because it was a surprise. Good location: 5-10 min walk from Dam Square. Hotel is modern and tiny

There was no hairdryer, no bidet and no mini-bar. The bathroom was really small.

Good location, the bed was comfortable, the bathrrom was OK. The room was very clean. The staff was helpful and kind. They accept pets.

We suggest that they put hairdryers in the rooms. We needed one and had to ask to the front desk. Breakfast was a little bit expensive (€ 13), so we decided to eat outside.

Clean and smart rooms, shower area was fantastic. Staff very good and helpful. A good location to the city and surrounding area. I would go there again without hesitation.
