There are beautiful biking routes to explore the area. Veenendaal has been chosen twice as the best and most popular biking city of the Netherlands. The Veluwe with its great natural landscapes is just a short bike ride away. All rooms are furnished with a double bed or 2 single beds, a color TV and a telephone. Half of the rooms are equipped with both a shower and a bathtub, and the rooms in the newer wing are equipped with air conditioning as well. A hairdryer and other amenities can be obtained from the front desk, if available. Veenendaal Ibis is in the center of the country, within 60 minutes by car or train from all major cities. Rooms are simple but clean. Would be nice if there would be some facilities like watercooker/coffee/tea in the room. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. restaurant/bar downstairs is pleasant and have a good some nice food. Overall a very pleasant hotel breakfast price is too expensive for what is offered hence we skipped that one. the pillows are too thin

The hotel is conveniently located just at the exit from the highway. If you need a place to crash before going to a long outdoor activity day, it's a good choice. The facilities are very basic, but ok for sleeping only. Everything looks a bit oldish and dusty, but functional. All in all, a good place for 1-2 nights, but not recommended if you want to spend more time in the hotel.

vriendelijke ontvangst, zoals je het zou verwachten! super! lift alleen toegankelijk m.b.v. hotelcard voor gasten. er zijn geen koffie/thee faciliteiten op de kamer.

Bereikbaarheid en parkeermogelijkheden voor gasten met auto. Niks van zwembad of sauna o.i.d. Weinig comfort op kamer, houten stoel, kleine tv.

Goed eten, voldoende keuze, goede bediening. Prima om na een drukke dag even bij te komen in de bar. Dramatisch slechte bedden. Een harde plank met een hard dun matras, absoluut onvoldoende voor deze categorie hotel.

Voordeel van 24 uurs service...laat aan kunnen komen en ook nog parkeerruimte hebben. Kamers zijn goed geluidsarm. Bij de receptie werden de gewijzigde routes wegens wegwerkzaamheden goed aangegeven.

Een snel te regelen en betaalbare logies in het midden van het land. Ibis gekozen vanwege de goede ervaringen in Frankrijk. Prima ontbijt. De afvoer van de toilet van boven maakte veel herrie.

De kamer was schoon en de doucheruimte groot genoeg. Het bed was hard, maar we hebben lekker geslapen! Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende. Een iets meer verend bed zou wel lekker zijn!

Hartelijke ontvangst. Prima schone kamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Ruime (gratis) parkeerruimte. Betalen voor wifi. Heb je een iphone en ipad dan wordt het 2x betalen! Tijdens het ontbijt werden andere tafels al schoongemaakt met sterk ruikende glassex.

De locatie is goed gekozen. Bereikbaarheid van de snelwegen is goed. Het interieur van de kamers is geen vier sterren hotel waardig. Badkamer cabines met een overheersende geur van linoleum. Voor een lunchpakker bestaande uit drie broodjes een stuk fruit en een beker melk moet Euro. 13.00 betaald worden. Dit is behoorlijk veel. Ik overnacht ivm werkzaamheden in het land diverse hotel maar de prijs kwliteitverhouding bij dit hotel zijn niet in orde. Ik zou zeggen 3 sterren hotel en minimaal 25% van de prijs eraf....

Hoewel wij er maar een nacht verbleven zijn wij zeer te spreken over het Ibis hotel in Veenendaal. Onze kamer lag aan de weg met stoplichten voor de kamer maar ondanks dat hebben wij heerlijk geslapen en totaal niets gehoord. Ook het bed was prima. Wij komen zeker terug en dan voor een langere periode.
