The room was clean and cosy. It had safety box, "jacuzzi". Location is nice even with the bars in the street. Comfort ok. Tv ok. Advices, tight stairs and Heating is on all night. Could be cheaper, but is Amsterdam. |

The room was very clean and although basic was relatively comfortable. Good central position to walk most places you would want to visit. |

The room was lovely, the ensuite facilities great, the bed comfortable, and everything was spotless; the receptionist was friendly, competent, and courteous; and the American hotel owner, who served breakfast over wonderful Bach piano music, was utterly charming and the best host possible. The breakfast itself, though simple, was of a high quality and more than adequate. |

Because the hotel is very small, the staff are very organised and know who you are. They are able to organise things alot quicker for you. The room was huge for the money I paid. The staff were very charming and the owner even managed to organise a taxi to pick me up from the airport. Fantastic service you do not even get in more expensive hotels. There wasn't 24 hour reception. The reception only went until 8pm at night. Fair dues that the hotel isn't that big to justify a 24 hour reception. Other then that, the hotel is fab! |

The bed and pillows were ridiculously comfortable! The room was spotless, and there was a jacuzzi shower!! Also the Location right on Rembrandtsplein was very convenient. Great value for the money. No bar soap or lotion in the room... But there was shoe cleaner..?! |

The furniture in our room was very old, its paint peeled off here and there, though the owner said it was antique furniture, I 'd rather say it was old and repainted. His taste about antique furniture was not high as my expectation. For those who had never entered the hotel before, will find it smelly and actually it was caused by restaurant kitchen surrounding the hotel. It has no lift but very steep stairs instead, not recommendable for elderlies. |

The staff was helpful and the Wifi connection was perfect. The room was clean. Location, tv remote control did not work, entrance surrounded by bars which makes it uncomfortable especially for female solo travellers to enter hotel. |

The entrance and reception were of a lower standard, but the rooms were lovely - large and clean, each room with its own style; comfy beds; modern windows to keep the street noices out. We are very happy with our stay at Hotel Imperial. |

The staff were helpful and the room was very good The access to the hotel was via very steep stairs which were hard to climb especially for partly disabled persons. A fully disabled person would not have access at all. |

From the friendly email giving advice before we got to the hotel to the kindness of printing out our boarding passes when we left we were made to feel very welcome. The room was large, particularly for Amsterdam. Loads of places to eat in the immediate area. Road outside is a pedestrian area. |

I liked the breakfasts and the wife of the owner was very helpful The location near nightclubs is quite noisy on the weekends, which can make the bed vibrate, and the owner of the hotel is not very helpful when asked questions. |
