The pool, sauna, and steam room are really nice to relax after the travelling. And the Erasmus bridge and river views from there are exceptional. There is no smoking room.

I did like it and it was reasonable value for money. The rooms shown on the website however are the new and more expensive rooms. Regular price means small simple and clean room. It was far too hot by the way. Luckily the window could be opened but that was very noisy with windforce 9. Liked the pool en sauna. It was far too hot in the room.

We always book at least a 4 star hotel and this one has been the best to date. The waterfront room was more than we expected, the bathroom was lovely and clean, unlike many we have had in 4 star hotels. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the room was magical at night with all the skyscrapers lit up and the boats sailing by, Yet no noise from the busy main road. Only a 3 or 4 minute walk to the city centre shopping. The top floor bar was closed due to a private party booking.

- full availability of staff and an open attitude - location - modern/design style of hotel and rooms - few parking spaces (no reservation possible) - price is a little too much for what you get

The hotel is very centrally located and ideal for a city trip. View over the River and the Leuve-haven gives it an extra attraction. Staff is very friendly but not exceptional professional. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted an upgrade to a room with a view over the harbour which we took. What they didn't tell us that it would cost an additional 15 Euro'S. The room was clean but very small, I would say under sized for a 4* hotel. Check-out took ages and lots of break- fast tables were packed with dirty cuttley. I think they need to work on the training of their staff. In all I think the place needs to work on their service and is a bit over prized.

Clean and very friendly staff. Room was not ready at 3 pm. We still had to wait for 15 minutes. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning it.

The location of the hotel is perfect between the city centre and the Kop van Zuid (Hotel New York, cruise terminal, Luxor theater). The sauna and swimming pool facilities are nice to relax in but too small for the size of the hotel. The overcrowded pool and sauna.

We booked the Hastens suite with sun shower with a magnificient view on the Erasmus Bridge (locally known as the White Swan) and the Southern disctrict of Rotterdam (including Hotel New York and the new Luxor theatre). The hotel is perfectly located and the city centre, Maritiem museum and other interesting 'must-sees' are in walking distance. Another absolute plus was that our dog was allowed there too. There was some confusion if we could book a table in the restaurant part (ground floor) because we wanted to take our dog with us and eventually ended in the Brasserie part (next to the restaurant on the ground floor!) but with the menu of the restaurant....not professional! You have to come really early (preferrably around noon) if you want to park your car underneath the hotel as there are very limited (and small!) parking lots there. We were lucky but otherwise we had to park in a public parking far away from the hotel as the closest public parking couldn't be reached due to road works.

Had a very nice stay. Great view of the Erasmus Bridge. Helpfull staf. We had the junior suit with sauna. This last one was a little bit small for a real relaxing sauna session.Room was nice an tide with a great bed. Breakfast a litlle bit overpriced but everything was there and plenty of it with a great view will having your breakfast. For everyone who is visiting Rotterdam a Hotel to remember Not really anything, maby if you anounce a champagne breakfast that you put a real bottle of champagne and not some sprakeling wine. It was a shame that the Panorama bar wasn't open
