the room, the view, the swimming pool, sauna and steam bath

the reception and corridors design are pretty poor: carpet loose, horrible colours match, trays laying in corners... it was kind of "youth hostel atmosphere" for those areas...you dont excpet this when you see its dramartic architecture and standard of the room

It is an awesome location and a great breakfast in a restaurant looking out over the channel

The rooms are extremely small

Beautiful room, modern and comfortable design. Excellent location, very handy metro/tram station in front of the door, parking nearby.

Internet signal was so weak to make it impossible to use it, if you need it for work choose a different hotel or you won't be able to do much! Panoramic room was on second floor, with nice view but certainly not what expected. You cannot enjoy the view unless you keep the curtain open and people walking on the street can see inside of the room. We actually saw a couple having sexy by the window of their room when we arrived to the hotel!

We got an upgrade for just 15 EUR and had a beautiful room with view over Rotterdam. Very chique, modern and great staff.

Fantastic location waliking distance to all major attractions but next to Metro if needed. Great views from room and the Water Bar.

Good hotel. Clean. Modern. Attractive. Easy to walk everywhere. Nice litle pool area with saunas and gym. Good value for money if you get one of the cheaper rooms.

I booked the Hastens Sunshower Riverview room. It cost twice as much as the basic room I would have otherwise stayed in. But I decided to go for it because I wanted to splash out on what sounded like a spacious room and jacuzzi. It wasn't worth it. The room was small. There was no jacuzzi - it's just a small bath tub with some water jets. The bathroom was small - only room for one person in the "tropical rain shower". The view was good, but it was just a regular size window. Not what I would call "panoramic". I was really disappointed. Certainly not worth twice the price of a regular room.

Poor service and slow check in and check out procedures. The room we stayed in was shoe box sized.

I have seldom met such friendly and genuinely helpful staff at the reception desk. The staff answered questions in a professional manner and went out of their way on several occasions to find information and answer questions. There was a good atmosphere and the hotel room was very clean and tidy. There were magasines at the customers' disposal which was a nice touch. All in all a hotel that can be highly recommended and which I would not hesitate to stay in again.

Possibility of ordering a coffee and breakfast roll or croissant without having to have the big breakfast buffet at 24 Euros - which is expensive.
