Location. Parking next to hotel. Mattress feels plasticky, makes you sweat. Hairdryer is awful. Scrambled eggs at breakfast looks and tastes as if it comes from a pack not from real eggs. I understand the hotel is moving across the road soon. Maybe these things will be fixed in the new location. |

Location - close to where I have to be. Good parking next to hotel. This hotel is closing soon, and moving to a new building across the road. The lack of investment shows. Also small mistakes. I was given a room that had not been cleaned. Next room was very smelly. Next room had a lot of noise from the ventilation. Not my best stay in this hotel. I also wonder whether it had something to do with the low rate I paid today (65 euro). I normally get given rooms in the corridor. These were all in the corner. |

At first hotel take our money from card two times and without warning us. At second staff can't explain it situation for us. At third near hotel works builders and morning at 9 am noise wake up us. At fourth hotel 3 days already don't unfreeze our money on card. Bad, bad, bad. |

The rooms were neat and tidy with modern facilities. Bathrooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions and providing me with a map of Amsterdam. |

The hotel was at a very interesting location for me as visitor of Duyvis. I enjoyed the room because it was very cosy and comfortable. The prices of products at the minibar were extremely high. Also the airconditioning was working on a by the reception given card. Since I did not have ths card I found it rather cold in the morning. |

The hotel was very close to downtown Amsterdam by metro. It was quiet and very clean with friendly staff. I would recommend it. |

Train station is right outside the door (but not noisy when inside the hotel) providing good access to Amsterdam. Hotel is being redeveloped over the road and look interesting!! Car park open and not secure only a barrier. Outside areas are pooly lit at night and has an unsafe feeling, however no problems experienced. Menu's are limited both in the bar and restaurant. Hotel fixtures and fittings are dated, but clean. Reception area is too small, especially when people leaving on Sunday morning. |

- close to station and Albert Heijn - - Quilt is too heavy for summer. It is cold if you don't use the quilt during the night. My baby got cold and next day high fever when we were back at home. - Quality of the breakfast was not as I expected for a 4-star hotel. - No local tourist information, except for amsterdam |

Great location with convenient train service to Amsterdam city center and Schiphol airport. Very noisy, there was massive construction next to the hotel that will last at least until the end of 2010. The room was small even by European standards. Although I booked a room with twin beds, we were initially given a room with a double bed. |

We were cheerfully greeted by the young lady on reception. Our room was clean, tidy and the bead linen was clean and crisp. The noise we expected from the large amount of building work going on next door did not happen and we had peacefull nights sleep. We felt that e15 per head for breakfast was expenceive, We stayed at a similar hotel in Amsterdam and continental breakfast was included in the price. The bathroom door creaked loudly (Not good in the night) this was reported to reception and they had it fixed |

Free internet, free parking Neighborhood is one big construction site (May 2009). The view is terrible except if you like concrete, construction machinery etc. We where lucky becuse it was weekend and a thus no construction works. |

The train station is right outside the back door of the hotel. The train to Amsterdam is only about a 15 minute ride. The rooms were small to American standards, but very nice for European standards. Parking Lot is tiny. |

We're both vegetarians and were able to have the set menu with a veggie option.We chose this hotel because it had free parking, that was probably the best thing about it. We asked for a double bed on the booking, then were told it would be 12 euros a night more! Then the receptionist changed this to 10euros and this was a so-called upgraded room. Not very big and the bathroom was tiny. All our side of the hotel was overlooked by an office block.This is not a 4* hotel. |

Yes, the bathroom had a bad odor like the sewer. We told the night staff but they said housekeeping went home and there was nothing he could do. We asked for another room but he said they were booked. The only thing he had for spray to give us was men's cologne! |
