Good location near Dam Square. Friendly staff. Free unlimited Wi-Fi. Room is old but clean. Budget friendly. Access to the rooms is via very steep staircases which may be a problem for those carrying heavy luggage or seniors. The WiFi did not reach my room at the topmost floor.

The hotel is located in a privileged location (near the Centraal Station, Damrak street and Red Light District); Nice staff; Beware of the very narrow stairs; Smell of cigarrete smoke on the hall;

Close to train station and the staff was friendly, but that is generally true in Amsterdam. Extremely loud neighborhood, young guest banging doors at 2 am and screaming at the top of their lungs. Beds are thin mattresses on wooden platforms and the ridiculously steep staircase.

The service was excellent, friendly and funny staff. Best location we could have asked for and all amenities in within walking distance and Centraal Station. Steep stairs to room was fun!! Room was a bit small and beds were hard but really it doesn't bother me.

The location is perfect. shops, bars, restaurants, cafes everything you need. Dam square, canals etc The hotel itself is very clean, friendly staff, rooms cleaned everyday, fresh towels etc. Basic, but good price. Shared shower and toilet were immaculate. Very lively street. There was nothing we didnt like.

This was our second stay, its in a very central location, good price, close to red light district and lots of coffee shops and eating places. Our room had a jacuzzi and large seating area which views over the roof tops. Had a mouse in the room feasting on our left over takeaway..... To be fair the hotel dealt with it swiftly. We took our own kettle as none provided.

Big bed and en suite bathroom. Very steep stairs. Too noisy in the morning general street noise not a problem. Large lorry making a constant very loud humming noise day one 4.30 am until 8.30 am day two 6.30 am until 10.30 noise could not be drowned out with ear plugs. Really liked the hotel but would not stay there again due to this a real shame.

The room and the bathroom en suite was very clean, pretty and warm all day long. It was cleaned every day. We stayed in the attic room which was very pretty. The hotel is in a very good location, extremely close to the Central Station, so I recommend it to those who want to catch an early morning train. The stairs are quite steep for older people or people with big luggage

The staff was really kind and the accommodation, although it was not that big, was really clean and comfortable. The heating was always turned on and even if you want to leave the window open to refresh the air, the room was really warm. Also de location is perfect. We spent 7min walking to Central Station and it's in the back of Red Light District. If you are looking for a place just to sleep this is perfect. It's not fancy but its perfect for a young couple to know the city. Be careful with the stairs. Not recommended to elderly and pregnant people cause they're really steep.

the hotel is situated in the center of Amsterdam very close to the railway station, which is absolutely amazing. that was the main reason why I chose this place. very bad sound isolation, you hear everything that is going on in the street, as well as in the neighbouring rooms. as the hotel is in the center, it's very noisy till early in the morning, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to those hoping to relax.

The room had personality being in the attic. Large bathroom. Central location. The room dubbed "superior" smelled of mould. The windows are draughty and noises from the street make sleeping at night quite hard. The location is very central in the corner of two busy streets popular with tourists, and it took till about 6 a.m. before people stopped shouting in their night life glee under the windows. The ear plugs provided by the hotel at no cost only help to a degree. Price asked and paid was too high but all Amsterdam hotels seem to shamelessly rip off during IBC.

The location is very good, near to the main station It's a budget hotel so don't put any high expectation. The stair to the room is pretty steep, I don't recommend anyone with huge luggages to stay here. It gets pretty noisy at nights ( the hotel does provide earplugs)
