I booked blindly, not knowing much about the area even though it sounded good. The hotel was a few STEPS from a tram stop, which made traveling with bags easy. It was in a great location, with shops and cafes and restaurants lining the streets all around. LOVED the area. And we had a late trip to the airport, so the hotel let us leave our bags for a few hours even after we checked out. Clean. Friendly staff. I'd stay here again for sure. The morning we were checking out we were leaving our bags outside the locked office. Someone rang the bell, and then used a key to come in. The staff, awakened by the bell, came out and yelled at us because he thought we had rung the bell just to leave our bags because that was our "emergency." I felt bad that he was awakened at 6:45 am but we got the brunt of his anger.

The location is excellent, and the staff quite helpful. The walls are thin and you can hear every footstep, every spoken word in the hallways and adjacent rooms.

Good staff and nearby the city center. Too expensive, however, it can be reasonable due to situation - have not checked other prices. If you get the room on the 3d floor, be careful with the stairs, difficult to downstairs with suitcase

Excellent, very friendly and helpful staff, all of the people we met. Very convenient location in the city center, walking distance to main attractions, on the channel bank. In general the hotel is rather nice and cozy (we stayed in the main building, the one across the river is more simple). The hotel is a bit worn-out, there is some smell in the basement, very tricky staircase.

Polite staff, helpful. Hassle free Generally clean, mid range cheap. Tiny noisy rooms. to sit on the toilet you need to put you feet in the shower. Windows let most of the street sound in. Could have found a better hotel for the same money or even less

Very well organised with every bit of space used. Staff were very helpful. Lots of information leaflets, tea and coffee service and clean. We were put in the basement with a tiny window which had nearly any light. The shower room had had no curtain so there was nowhere to put dry clothes to change into, this was difficult seeing as though I was there with my 2 brothers.

ITC its a hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. If you need something they are very eager and happy to help you. The rooms are typical Amsterdam type, small and cozy, but clean and warm. The wifi signal is best at reception. I was on 2nd floor and the signal was very weak.

Fantastic and picturesque location for getting around to all sites in Amsterdam...very friendly and helpful staff...lots of cafes, restaurants nearby. We rented bikes from the hotel which was perfect and a brilliant way to see the city. Definitely stay again and recommend to others-couples and families. Noisy neighbours at 5am !!! Surprising as quiet neighbourhood but you can not predict that..

This is a an excellent budget priced hotel within 5 minutes walk of the Rembrandtplein. Overlooking the Prinsengracht, it is quiet and easily accessible with local shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Tram No 4 stops less than 50m away. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (7.5euro) is very good.

Location is excellent. Yes the rooms are small, but so are all the rooms in that part of Amsterdam, so get over it. Some problem with the wi fi. Starts can be dangerous, especially when going up with suitcases. It can be noise, dependent on whom is in the room next or above you. A bit expensive - very bad value for the money

Excellent central location, nice view of canal from our window. Room was spotlessly clean, it was cleaned every day and the towels and sheets changed. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at Reception were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay was very good value, and we would recommend it to anyone. The door of the ensuite shower / toilet didn't shut properly as it didn't fit properly, and this could have been fixed quite easily, but this was not a major problem and we didn't complain about it because everything else was really nice.
