This area is perfect for those who love hiking and biking. The hotel has homey rooms, a bar and a good restaurant. Hotel Restaurant Jans has a wonderful location in the Rijsterbos. Here you can enjoy the view of the Frysian meadows. At just 2 miles from the hotel lies the shore of IJsselmeer lake. Bird watchers can visit a nature reserve here. Mirnser Klif Beach is suitable for kite surfing. In the hotel you can choose from two room types. The 9 hotel rooms are on the second and third floor of the main building. The hotel's grounds offers several Swedish chalets, that house the Garden Rooms. This room type has a private entrance and a small terrace.

Wonderful location in Friesland, close to woods, lakes, meadows. Cottages perfect for traveling with a dog. Very nice and accomodating staff. Fabulous dining room.

Quiet country side hotel with style just beside a fantastic forest and closeness to the sea. Breakfast could have been with more vegetables like tomato and cucumber etc.

Het management heeft de zaak perfect op orde. Men is aardig, servicegericht, prijs/kwaliteit van voeding is goed, de zaak is schoon, alles ziet er netjes uit, etc.. Niets dan goeds!

Een prima hotel met een warm welkom voor de gast. Persoonlijke benadering met een groot gevoel voor gastvrijheid. Ik had een tuinkamer d.w.z. een huisje met een eigen voordeur achter in de tuin. Badkamer met groot bad, aparte douche en een een slaapkamer met zitje en een eigen veranda. Alles zeer schoon. Verder een uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt dat aan tafel geserveerd wordt, inclusief lekkere specialiteiten uit Friesland. Ook hebben wij er heerlijk gedineerd. Ik kan alleen maar zeggen; ga erheen en ga genieten van de sfeer en de ambiance!

Hotel Jans is een van de allerleukste hotels die wij kennen. Het ligt op een prachtige locatie, het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het eten is voortreffelijk. De kamers zijn niet superdeluxe, maar goed. TV, goeie douche, fijne bedden. Voor ons is hotel Jans inmiddels een vast adres voor als we er even uit willen.

Deze overnachting was ons beter bevallen dan de vorige in een van de tuin-kamers. Ambiance en gastvrijheid deed ons besluiten om nog eens dit hotel te bezoeken, maar dan in het hoofdgebouw. Een prima keuze blijkt achteraf, kamer 103 is een aanrader

Schönes und persönliches Hotel direkt an einem kleinen Naturschutzgebiet gelegen, welches zum spazierengehen einlädt. Sehr gutes Restaurant, welches auch ohne Übernachtung einen Besuch wert ist.

Het hotel ligt prachtig aan de rand van het dorp en het bos De kamer is erg netjes en compleet ingericht met een prima badkamer. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en wat uit de keuken komt is bijzonder goed. Echt een aanrader om een paar dagen te ontspannen in een van de mooiste streken van Friesland.

Enigzins rustieke hotel; doet wel gezellig aan en personeel en bediening is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De tuinkamers kunnen meer modernere inventaris wel gebruiken. Wij hebben een schilderscursus van Doet Boersma gevolgd ; zeer leuk en de daarbij aangeboden lunches van Hotel Jans waren zeer goed.

Hotel jans is een klein famili4hotel. Er is weinig luxe geen lift,eenvoudige badkamers alle4s een beetje oudbollig. Ontbijt lunch en diner s,avonds zijn op enkele uitzonderingen na prima. Persoonlijk vind ik het geen 3 sterren hote l

De ligging biedt veel mogelijkheden om te fietsen en leuke plaatsen te bezoeken. Het eten bij Hotel Jans is heerlijk. Wij hadden een tuinkamer, dit is een leuke combinatie van een huisje/hotelkamer.

vriendelijk en adequaat personeel prettig gelegen tuinkamer met ruime badkamer goed ontbijt goede uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten veel last van muggen, zodat de tuindeuren bij warm weer niet open konden blijven ( geen hor in de tuindeur) de fan aan het plafond werkte onvoldoende

Wij hebben er eigenlijk alleen maar geslapen en ontbeten. Doordat je vrij dicht bij het Ijsselmeer bent zijn we veel gaan varen. Je kunt dit stukje ook goed met de fiets doen, want het hotel ligt maar ongeveer 12 kilometer van het meer af. Ideaal.
