Area information

The NH Carlton is located in the heart of Amsterdam on the colorful flower market and in the direct vicinity of the famous shopping streets and museums. You can enjoy the various shops that sell jewelry, clothing, books, antiques and more with their beautiful architecture while going out for a stroll.
It only takes 5 minutes to get to the central station (Centraal Station) and you can reach Schiphol Airport in 25 minutes. Amsterdam and its surroundings are known for the diversity in museums, art, entertainment and events, which you can combine very easily with a business trip. Amsterdam has something for everyone, you can visit the Rijksmuseum, Paleis op de Dam (the palace on Dam square), the Van Gogh museum or go to a musical or dance performance.

Close to every thing downtown.Great breakfast.

Room had not been used for a day or two, or had recently been converted to non smoking. So the air conditioning had a stale odor. But hey the windows opened large.

I booked for one king size bed but was offered 2 twin beds.... and on asking the staff to change, they were not at all helpful. so i had to stay in twin room for all 3 nights

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location in the centre of Amsterdam just off the flower market, well equipped room.

Room facing street a bit too noisy at night, the bathroom/some of the furniture could use some renovation.

Clockroom was helpful to keep the luggages till evening,

The price mentioned in the internet was 160 euro, whereas the actual price was 168 euro. Check-in time can be made earlier (currently, it is at 14:00PM)

the location was good, close to town and next to the flower market

Noisy, it's on a mian street and you hear the trams and late night revellers, room size very small, expensive, breakfast price excessive
