Location

The first day we got a room with a view of the back-wall of the house next door. The elevator was very noisy. We hardly could sleep, but we had the chance to change room the next day.

Good location, fair staff, nice bad and bath

Does not worth the money you pay. This also applies for the ordinary breakfast as well. Very small rooms, no bathrobe, no slippers, very limited complementaries...

the staff were kind and accepted early check in. i liked the big windows in the room and the location of the hotel is near the flower market and rembrandt square.

the towels need to be changed and the price is abit high. no complementry water.

Beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel was in serious need of refurbishments. The heating/air conditioning button was broken. The towel rail in the bathroom leaked. The bath drain did not drain. The button on the bath/shower tap was broken. We had to change rooms because the basin in the first room did not drain! I also forgot my beautiful black dress in room 620 when we checked out and nobody can find it. Nothing like the nh hotel in Rome where we have stayed twice.

Internet connection was not good: not available in room without extra charge, at these room rates I would expect wi fi in room. Hotel computer equipment at their computer room was very slow and continuously timed out. I recommended to hotel to have IT technician check their equipment.

It was the most bad experience I had about hotels...way overrated!!!! Dirty sheets, hair in the bad, very unfriendly staff, breakfast not included for a already high rate but not mentioned in booking, inexistent internet connection... I do not recommend it, unless you just want to through money

Standard room quite old, but comfortable

It was very convenient to all Amsterdam attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable

The reception staff were very competent and the main lobby was ok.

I would not stay at this hotel again and never stay in room 327, the room was dirty, the furniture was scruffy, there were two plastic chairs in the room which had cigarette burns and the plastic was all cut around the sides, very nasty, the walls had dents, and the bathroom top around the sink had not been cleaned, we could not put any clothes in the drawers or wardrobes as there were hairs in them. The tea and coffee tray had dryed coffee stains which the sachets were put on top off. The final straw later that night came when we tried to pull the tatty and ripped curtains which did not close, then and only then did they move us after having to complain again. Do not stay at this hotel it is not 4 star.

The air-conditioner unit would stop working when the temperature was set below the red dot, cutting off air circulation entirely. The toiletries (shampoo & shower gel) were of inferior quality & smelled weird. Basic things like toothbrushes & shower caps were not even provided. Only one complimentary bottle of mineral water was provided, even though there were two guests per room. On checkout day, the front desk asked for payment, even though it was pre-paid via internet booking. Apparently, the online payment system was not working, which didn't address our concerns about double charging/payment.

Excellent location, very clean, lovely staff & good breakfast.

Although the room was clean it was on the small side.
