quiet area, close to the center common facilities (e.g. toilets) and very steep stairs can be uncomfortable. There is a tax of 5% if you do not pay in cash. |

the area, the family atmosphere, the breakfast was fine the toilet was in the hall - this was totally not clear from the website! no elevator - this should also be emphasized; the room is in poor condition, though relatively clean |

The breakfast was definately the best part of the trip. The quality was great. The shared toilets was ok, but the fact there was no fan, or air freshener in the toilets made them stink |

Nothing special compared to all the hotels The bathroom was too bad. No much privacy. Also the stair case. The hotel says this is the old Dutch tradition for having too narrow steps and steep. Since I paid a good price I expect a better facility. |

The service I received at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. The room was very small, extremely basic and a very depressing place to return to after a day at work/business. |

This is a cheap hotel that will provide decent stay. The breakfast is decent. Not too far from city center. Separate entrance for guests. The stairs are a problem. Rooms feature the bare minimum. Bathroom/shower is too small, and need refurbishing. For little more money, you could stay in a much better hotel in Amsterdam. |

Staff were helpful, breakfast was good, Wetering Circuit is a good spot to stay in close to all transport, would stay in this hotel again. The hotel can be noisy on the weekend nights, other guests banging about and talking with no consideration for others at 5.30 A.M. This wasn't the hotel's fault though. We also had a smelly toilet that needed a good chemical clean. |

Friendly service, helpful with information and generous breakfast. Quiet location that is also convenient to picturesque canals and cafes. Compact, quiet room with outlook over the leafy rear garden. The mattress was not flat, but inclined to one side. I could feel the springs in the mattress, but I slept well anyway. The stairs are very steep, but this is part of the authentic character of the old building. |

Everybody in the hotel spoke English, and it was really good. And the location of the hotel is excellent, you are able to go everywhere by foot. It would be good if the Hotel had a easiest way to take the luggage to the rooms, because of the stairs. But I have no idea about how this could be done. |

Breakfast in the terrace. I thought I also had a toilet in my room when I booked but I ende up having only a shower. Those things need to be clear. |

Reservation was perfect as I booked, no mistake. I think the price was not reasonable, considering the fact that the room had only shower and a TV. But that could be probably due to the expensive prices in Amsterdam, no problem anyway. Hotel breakfast is one type everyday a change may be valued by customers. Otherwise, it is a comfortable and cool place for someone to stay. All the minor things can be ignored. Let me say, it is fine. |

The breakfasts are included in the price and they are excellent. The stairways are more than a little steep, unless one is a mountain goat, but I think that is par for the course for the price. |

very good location, quiet, nice and green street, near to tram stations and shoping streets the towels were terrible (clean but look very old and grey like somebody used them for two weeks), for breakfast we had only toast without any kind of bread or rolls |
