The location was great, lovely building in quiet residential area, close to museums and several restaurants, and a lovely canal side 30 min walk to city centre. The room was a little on the small side, but this was compensated for by the location. The staff were helpful and spoke perfect English and breakfast was very good. Can recommend the restaurant Beouf which is 5 min walk from hotel. No, but would have liked to have tea/coffee facilities in the room |

excellent breakfasts, extremely quiet, staff took trouble to arrange early breakfast for marathon runners on the sunday of our weekend we left early to catch a flight so no breakfast was available and we would have like to be able to make ourselves a hot drink |

The staff is superb, hands down. Location is very convenient to all the nicest areas of Amsterdam. Made to order eggs at breakfast a nice touch not often seen any longer. The street is very quiet. The Juliet balcony was really delightful. I have stayed at many hotels in Amsterdam, and this hotel is in the top 3. I likely will return. Two small issues, and really very easy to solve. I read somewhere in the other reviews that the pillows are bad. It's true, they are lumpy and need replacing. The carpet in the room had many stains and needed to be professionally cleaned. These are definitely not reasons to avoid this gem of a hotel. |

Pretty nice breakfast, location, cleanliness. In Europe, a single room almost always comes with a single narrow bed. For around 100euros or more a single room should have a more generously sized full bed. |

Friendly staff, clean rooms and a decent breakfast, and because we paid so much we were given a choice of gifts from their souvenier display. We visited when the ibc conference was on and so paid incredibly high prices. So avoid the decond weekend in September in Amsterdam, |

My room was comfortable and clean. The window opened. I had cable television. The breakfast was great every morning and the serving staff was friendly. The location was in a safe, quiet residential neighbourhood very near the Museumplein and tram services. There was no travel desk and the hotel website said that there was so be prepared to make all your own plans for daytrips, sightseeing, but it's pretty easy. |
