I liked the fact that this hotel feels like it is in the country as it is surrounded by a lovely park but it is only a 20 minute walk from the centre of town. There is a fantastic laundromat in Leiden called Mc Wash.

Nice, basic hotel room. Comfortable bed and accomidations. Excellent breakfast. Good amount of parking. You can walk/exercise around the castle grounds by the hotel - very relaxing.

A bit pricey, but the entire area is expensive so this was competitively priced based on surrounding hotels. Hotel restaurant was having a function while we stayed, so couldn't eat dinner there.

Close to Keukenhof aprox 10 km. Soft mattress, comfortable to sleep.

No tea or coffee making facility in the room, no dinner option in hotel, small rubbish bin, no drinking water bottles in the room.

Nice surroundings and it was very quiet allowing a very good night's sleep!

The room smelt of drying paint, so I would advise the hotel to get it aired out properly.

Setting, beautifull grounds and very peaceful, great location, close to airport and major cities.Nice area to go for walks. Nice breakfast included.

Maybe we missed it but did not see an elevator to second floor, could be a problem for some people with mob. problems.

Breakfast good and plentiful. Hotel room was clean and minimalist.Helpful evening staff member made us coffee.

Hotel was fine but it was disappointing to be told we could not book a table in the restaurant for dinner as it was for conference guests only. A coffee making machine would have been useful.The main bar was closed as the conference had finished on our second night.

I enjoyed the park that you could walk in. The bathroom needs fans installed so that it would get rid of the mildew.

Very nice and friendly staff. Fantastic location in a beautiful park. Very quiet and green. The small town also very picturesque. I like to sleep with an open window. In the Kasteel was marvelous, very fresh air and in the morning the birds woke me up with their singing. In the morning they served very nice and fresh breakfast (buffet) and the coffee I had from their express machine was the best macchiato I had in any hotel so far. So couldn't refuse to make two myself :) Also the hotel provides a free car park, which was great concerning the high prices of car parks in Netherland.

I was staying there on Friday night withe checking out in the morning and as they have been preparing the hotel for some big weeding the restaurant hasn't been working. So I had to eat outside, what actually wasn't so bad as by the very nice and friendly receptionist I was advised to go to the Noordwijck, which was about 15min. Drive away and I had very good dinner just next to the beach.

good location, beatiuful park

Room was tiny, bed very not comfortble; bar was closed for special party; our room at 14.00 was not ready (check in at 15.30!) and check out strict at 10.30... breakfast good but choice is small. Castle is nice- but you can not get there, all facilities is in other buiding. So, in general it is not bad hotel but 95 EUR its way to much.

It was a great location south of Amsterdam, near the tulips, and the beach! Staff was very friendly. Great breakfast! You're not in the 'castle' but next door in the carriage house! So quiet and peaceful...walking trails.

Geen mogelijkheid om te dineren. Wel voor groepen!!!

Mooie kamer en vriendelijk personeel. Zeer goed ontbijt.

Erg gehorig i.v.m. trouwfeest. Hier worden regelmatig feesten georganiseerd en dat zorgt voor geluidsoverlast.

La posizione è a 4 km da Leida e a 10 minuti in macchina dal parco Keukenhof, le camere sono spaziose e pulite

Si dorme nelle scuderie riadattate a centro congressi; un pò lontano dal concetto di soggiorno in castello...

L'hôtel est situé dans un havre de paix, avec bien sûr, comme partout ici, la piste cyclable qui mène directement en ville

En raison d'une fête ce soir là, parking non disponible et restaurant fermé. Il serait bien d'avoir l'information au moment de la réservation

Hotel tel que decrit sur Booking. Chambre claire et propre, dejeuner tres varie :-)

Pas de baignoire dans la sdb comme normalement prevu. Hotesse a l accueil pas tres sympa lors du depart et du payement, et ne parlait ni francais ni anglais !
