Price was ok, not very far from center but I would prefer a central one for next. There are hidden costs not mentioned here. They ask 20 euro deposit for keys which was a problem since I usually dont carry much cash and prefer credit cards. Also they ask for luggage storage which is also not fair.

The position is near the conference that I was attending. The staff was helpful. Wifi connectivity is decent. The room was very small and dusty. The sheets were not dirty but noticeably old. I was given one towel in the bathroom (that had a hole in it) and there was no bathmat. The soap dispenser was empty in the shower on my first day there. The room safe is wedged behind the bed because the room is so small and a guest would literally have to move the bed to open the safe door and actually use it. A bottle of water at the front desk costs €3 !

The staff was very friendly, and the location is just superb. Free internet was good too. It is very comfortable if you like to be in the center, very close to Leidseplein. The require additional 6% if you pay by credit card. They require 3 Euro per piece if you leave your baggage there for the day.

Nothing. This place was a huge mistake, it is a dump and i found out the same family that bought the Atlas Hotel on Vondelpark now owns this one. They run them into ground and charge exorbitant prices. Since you are in Amsterdam I suggest you go see it. it deserves to be deleted from your inventory. A true dump. see above: a dump, windows that only open 3 inches, bedding that is 15 years old at least, a pillow I wouldn't give my dog, extremely overpriced, no lights adequate to read , breakfast for only 8-9:30 , plenty of ways and rules to discourage anyone from wanting to be there. Never again ever

The staff at the hotel were incredible, very friendly, polite, helpfull. For sure it is the hotel's best asset. The location was superb Decent breakfast The size of the room was decent for a single but the bed incredibly small, even for a single bed. The tv was positioned beside the bed, which made no sense and had no remote control. There were no mat in the bathroom or hand towel (but they were provided once I asked by a very friendly chap) The sofa at the reception and the carpet could do with some cleaning/updating as it is full of stains. The prices for Easter were incredibly high in my opinion for that kind of accomodation.

The location is brilliant, only a tram ride from Central station. There is also a canal bus stop near by. Museums and markets are at hand and there's some good restaurants and pubs around. The room was tiny. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was little room to sit other than on the bed. The hotel make up for any savings you make on accommodation by charging excessively for water and storing your bags.

The location was good, very near to Ledseplein. The breakfast was good as well, with fresh bread, ham and cheese. The elevator worked properly, which was very helpful because I carried several bags and suitcases Initially I had a discussion with the lady at the desk because the safety deposit box wasn't working. She replied that I should change the batteries myself, which I felt disrespectful. The Wi-fi connection didn´t work during all my stay and when I asked for a solution, the lady simply told me " it´s sunday, nobody works in holland on sundays". Also, I had to pay 6 euro for luggage storage

Near to town center The room conditions are so poor, also it is not clean enough. The bed is very small, even it is single bed. The design of the room is uncomfortable, and the window is very old. Because it was -10 degree in Amsterdam, all the cold came into the room because of this old windows.

The location of the Hotel was great, 15-20 min walk from the city center on the tram line. The nearest bus-tram stop was just 2 min walking. We liked that the most popular museums (Heineken Experience, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and the park near by them were in walking distance (less then 15 min). In the evenings we could taste a bit of the nightlife in Amsterdam at Leidseplein what actually also 3 min from the Hotel or with a direct tram to the center.. The size of the room was a bit small and the bed was also not really suitable for a young couple.

We liked the location and the soap and hairdryer on the bathroom. The breakfast was poor, the staff were not really happy or friendly and the stairs are just a hazard. There is just no space in some places, like the lift and the toilet on the first floor, I almost couldn't close the door with me inside.

After reading reviews was apprehensive but was good to stay at small traditional hote. The staff were brilliant! Very helpful. Room smart clean and comfortable. Came in late each evening but had own key pass, location easy to find had a very good stay, would go again - much better than corporate hotel. Thanks Kings Hotel

“Great location near the Leidesplein, a square with many restaurants and bars, and great shopping streets…the bus from the airport stops just a couple of minutes walk away, and tram stops all nearby. The breakfast was very good, lovely fresh bread and croissants every morning, and the room was big and comfortable, and extremely clean. Friendly helpful staff.” Nicola, Richmond Road, St Helier |
