This hotel is situated exactly in the centre of Amsterdam, near the central train station and near the red light district. Yes, the rooms were too small and very noisy especially during night time. |

The hotel was absolutely perfect! It was centrally located to everything (red light district, coffee shops, museums, restaurants etc.), the staff were super friendly, the room was cleaned everyday and was very spacious (twin room, sharing). There was free internet access which was also great. Not applicable - it was stunning! |

The reception staff are great, being just a short walk from Central Station meant I was able to catch a tram to the RAI. There are great restaurants in the area including a small China Town. |

Location is great for night life. No fan in room and no ac. Small room. Would rate as 2 stars instead of 3. Expensive for what you get but maybe not expensive for Amsterdam. |

Good location- 5 min from central station. Near the red light district of Amsterdam, so not the best choice for families. |

As long as the hotel rates stay within my budget, I plan to return to Koopermoolen on my next visit to Amsterdam. The Hotel staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The location is perfect too. The rooms that face the street can be very noisy from street noise, but that is to be expected as it's party central. As long as you return to your room tired, you won't have any trouble falling asleep. I also stayed in a back room upon my return to Amsterdam at end of trip and that room was utterly quiet save minor construction work, but who can complain when the man working is singing, "Amsterdam, O Amsterdam..."? |
