The boiled eggs
Horrible tiny room. Stains on the carpet. Mould on the walls. Breeze coming through the closed window was horrendous. Shower completely knackered. Was like an expensive hostel. Eejets roaring and shouting all night. I travel for a living and I've been all over the world and without doubt the worst place I have ever stayed. Stay away..
Pleasant reception staff. Location ok.
The room only had a sealed window onto a central duct. Ventilation was through a duct with a louvre. Very small bathroom - the shower door hit the basin and the toilet was very close to the wall in front. No good for any one above average size. Breakfast in another restaurant along the street. Overall not worth the money.
Location was excellent
There was no soap in the containers, only one set of towels for two people?
location in city center.
heating did not work and was not repaired. no extra radiator was available. room was so small and beneath roof, i hardly could stand. needed massive protest to change the room. at third day, no coffee was available for breakfast
sent to another hotel for breakfast for 2days no complaint was excellent.
3rd day breakfast in koopermoolen not good at all no eggs poor.
The location was great and the breakfast left us full.
The blankets and bedsheets looked very old and worn out. There were even holes in them. Also, there was an issue with the hot water. I had to wait for at least 10 minutes for the water to heat up.
Great location Friendly staff Clean rooms
The stairs but what you expect from amsterdam !
The staff was very helpful and nice to have breakfast included.
My room was next to the street and very noisy.
I liked that everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast was good.
Thomas was always as helpful as possible, offered a blow heater however this tripped out the plug sockets in our room.
We had no heating for the first 18 hours of 48 hour stay. I was told the manager was coming in to speak too, he did not the man at reception would not provide a name of manager or head office number only an email address. I demanded some of my money 125 euro a night was refunded, as I was sold a room with no heat and was offered complimentary drinks! This is not acceptable the man in reception refused to call the manger for me to speak too and refused to refund part of my payment. Do not stay here! This treatment is unacceptable particularly at 125 euro a night! We had jacuzzi suite, it was my partners birthday they ruined our trip.
I always stay here- great staff, great location and a free breakfast!
Lil over priced - but prob depends what time of year you stay.
*very good location if you want to be in the centre of Amsterdam *good stuff *as it is presented in photos *cheaper compared to other hotels in the centre of Amsterdam with breakfast
*too noisy but it is expected because of the central location *tiny elevator and stairs *there is not available internet in public areas *expensive in generally (not value for money)
its got everything that you would need
shampoo and body wash was empty...
The front desk staff was always up beat and very helpful. The free breakfast was more than I usually expect from a continental.
I wouldn't go anywhere else when staying in Amsterdam. The hotel is basic but excellently located and has evening you would need. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is great.
dogs allowed , room was clean and basic with on suite and tv , also the staff were very friendly , and the location is fantastic
the location, the breakfast included
the bed, the sheets, the size of the room
The hotel is really close to the main train station and the breakfast was also really good. The room was clean and the staff was really helpful.
I have found it a bit expensive, but since it is in the centre of Amsterdam it is no wonder.
first visit and wont be the last very clean ..tidy .an ideal location ..an staff great espescially laura ..thought it would of been noisey we staying at the front of the hotel but slept really well i think the cosy bed helped..but definetly a great place to stay we great bars on the doorstep ..
Location ....very close to the Centraal Station .....trams available to most parts of the city ....the guy at the reception ...Tyes (don't think I got his spelling right) ..,...very helpful guy. Decent room...but small ....clean ....lots of places to have food around.
Breakfast is meagre with the fare not so great....heater was not working well .....
the hotel is in the center of the City, Central Railway station is only 5 minutes walk. Oude Kerk and Domplein are nearby. Breakfasts were eatable and sufficient, friendly reseption. If I ever in Amsterdam again, I will stay at this hotel.
Rooms are small and at night its so noisy outside
