The design hotel was a unique experience the creativity and history was stimulating. It was expensive for us but made better value once breakfast was included in the deal - otherwise we would have left feeling that we had really overspent and not had value. The location, staff and room cleanliness was fantastic. |

Mostly the design of the hotel, with the old windows next to your bed :) We were lucky to stay in the room besides the biggest window. Service is also very good. |

The feeling in the Hotel is absolutely stunning. The beauty and architectural integrity of a Gothic church and monastery highlighted by beautiful non invasive modern architecture. It is quite a special experience. Due to extreme thick walls there is no WiFi, but getting connected at the business center and working from there is worth the effort and adds to the over all experience. The ambient music style sounds quite outdated. It does not match the incredible aesthetics of the place. An effort should be made to improve the music choice to something less common. |

Design hotel, very original architecture Service very poor, not what one expects for this genre of hotel. Price of breakfast overpriced for the offering. No wifi, wired Internet was not free, not at all inline for such a design hotel. |

The hotel is a combination of an old church and modern hotel. It has a unique design and atmosphere. Service is excellent and food is great. Matresses were not up to right standard and the hotel did not have Internet access or coffee maker in the rooms |

Wonderful hotel. An innovative refurbishmentment of a beautiful old church combining luxury and contemporary styling to great effect. The staff were very helpful and the rooms comfortable and well equipped although not huge. Great place for a couple or friends to enjoy Maastricht from. 10 min walk to the main shopping/sightseeing area of town. |

I liked staying at such a beautiful and old location. The lobby is also quite nice. It seems as if the neighborhood of the hotel is not as nice as many other neighborhoods in Maastricht. And we did not like the fact that you are booking a room in the old 'klooster' but we actually got to stay in the attic of the 'bijgebouw'. Also a nice private terras, where one can have breakfast or coffee seems to be missing. I guess our expectations were a bit too high. We prefer staying at Chateau St.Gerlach, which belongs to the same owner, but breaths much more luxury, relaxation and "gezelligheid". Within Maastricht city centre we will try something different next time! |

Gorgeous design hotel with extremely helpful, unpretentious, staff. I hate all-you-can eat buffets. Please offer an a la carte breakfast! |

The atmosphere was incredible. The hotel looked historical from the outside, but inside was quite modern. The contract was very interesting. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The wine bar was nice and the service was first class. Disappointed that I could not get a reservation at the restaurant for dinner. However I did wait until the last minute to try to eat there. |

The hotel staff were excellent, we also got bikes and cycled out to the Chateau St Gerlach - which has the same owners and we had lunch there which was amazing. The hotel should do a package of bike rental/a mapped bike route and lunch at the Chateau - they would do well. I was there on my birthday - which I told them. I didn't really expect anything wonderful but I've stayed in other hotels on my birthday and got an entire cake and a bottle of champagne free. This hotel didn't even offer a cocktail. Then I tried to order a Kir Royale in the bar - which is my favourite drink - and they had never heard of it and didn't stock Creme de Cassis so I couldn't have it. |

Our room was very clean and well designed. The hotel is very well conceived and truly unique. The location was very convenient, though a little far from the centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were no real amenities such as a pool, spa, gym, but it is a perfect place for a weekend stay. There were very limited channels and no french channels on the television. It would be nice to have a DVD collection. The check-out took a little too long as the reception also answered the phone. There is only one free internet terminal and a 5 star hotel should have free internet. |

Design of the main hall located in the former church. The price of this hotel is way too high for the service it offers. The design of the rooms is rather poor and definitely not that inspired. At breakfast which costs 26 Euro per person we found rotten strawberries and dirty cups and the waiters were cleaning the tables by simply throwing the dirt on the floor. The interent costs almost 10 Euro per day. At most hotels nowadays it's free. |

Staff was very friendly and building is very nice both inside and out. Charges not explained in advance (valet parking turned out to cost EUR 27.50 per day). Our room was small but very well decorated. |
