A beautifully renovated Gothic monastery in the centre of Maastricht, complete with a church, is the rather spectacular stage for an unusually stylish Design hotel.

Dating back to the late medieval period, the impressive architecture still appeals to the emotions. Now merged with modern flairs, this 5-star luxury hotel is a true feast for your senses. Venture through time as you step into the church, now transformed into various lounge corners, the reception, a library, and a wine bar for fine wining & dining. Three small boardrooms are available for your business needs. The Entresol is reserved for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This historic city with its picture-perfect streets and wealth of attractions has a unique atmosphere, unlike any other place in The Netherlands. It is, therefore, only fitting that your experience of Maastricht should be completed by a stay in such a unique hotel. Valet parking is available.

beautiful hotel

romm was beautiful although sometimes a bit impractical, eg glass door I had to keep opening when going between wardrobe and bedroom area.

Special environment and ambiance

Design furniture and bathrooms is nice to look at, however not always practical. There are also some signs of "wearing out".

Unique ambience

Charge for breakfast are excessive and we were charged for breakfasts that we did not have and, despite an email requesting a refund, we have not received a response.

A beautiful hotel maintaning the quiet and tranquil atmosphere of a monastery. The restaurant and bar areas have been built in way that preserves the scale of the main church with its arched ceilings high above. We were lucky as our bedroom was located against one main stained glass window.

A unique very modern hotel within a 12th century monastery. Brilliant design in every detail.

Exhorbitant cost for breakfast even if all that was desired was some yogurt and coffee.

atmosphere, building is unqiue

pressure of the water is below standard, too many people around reception is perceived as disorganized, VDA PayTV is really bad quality, a 5 star hotel like this needs a better IP-TV system
