Hotel La Colombe  

The location was very good as we came to see Andre Rieu's Concert, very safe to walk around. Staff were very helpful and car parking facilicities were good.

Friendly staff, fantastic location on the Markt, good continental breakfast in the morning. In heart of Maastricht, dont stay if you want quiet setting but great for being a part of what is going on - town hall next door and chimes on the half hour, except in the early hours - I liked this as it made the setting

Room very basic, ensuite tiny - sat on toilet knees against door and I am only 5'2". shower black mould in grouting and shower head needs descaling. Electric cable stretching accross from light switch to tv, tv cost extra

The reception and the staff job are excellent ... always smiling and ready to help. The hotel is also very well situated, at the best place in my opinion. Indeed, the markt place is the center of the city: shopping centers, public markets, universities, conferences places ... every thing is easy to reach ! The breakfast is also very good and can satisfy the most demanding persons.

I should say that the rooms are small and not very comfortable to stay more that one or two nights. The wifi is available only in the restaurant / breakfast place ... never in the rooms.

Good location right in the Market Square in the middle of Maastrcht.

The location is excellent. Breakfast is fair.

Hotel staff is not helpful. We waited for the reception for 5 minutes and we could not get information about wi-fi and parking places. We could not feel ourselves like the customer. In the room, even there is no remote control of the TV.

The position of the hotel was very good in the market square.

The access to rooms was up a very narrow winding staircase, and, with no lift available it was very difficult to get luggage up to rooms. The room was very basic, and although there were en-suite facilities, they could only be described (at best) as adequate!!! The breakfast was very poor, with little selection of food and no tea available, and the hotel staff were not particularly helpful. When talking to other guests they were of the same opinion. Would definitely not go there again!!!

Hotel is central to town and faces the main market square.

Low level interest or hospitality by staff. Main business is cafe. Accommodation seems like an inconvenience to staff. No elevator. Very narrow, steep spiral staircase is virtually impossible with large luggage. Staff offer no assistance. Quite dangerous if on high floors. Not suitable for aged or women on their own. Basic breakfast

The hotel location is excellent, so if you spend your vacation time somewhere else than a hotel room this accommodation is an appropriate choice to a restricted budget. Also the breakfast was decent and tasty.

Despite the hotel rules disallowing smoking unfortunately due to some guests ignoring the regulation cigarette smoke came into our room a couple of times, which was very unpleasant.

Excellent location. Reasonable breakfast. Clean.

Small room (but well enough if you just want to sleep). A bit hot inside.
