Conscious Hotel Museum Square    

Superb location, friendly staff, good multi-food breakfast. Excited gentle and witty personal slogans on each room door. This hotel is really favorite child of its owners.

Very disappointed that there is an extra charge for breakfast now. When I stayed at this hotel previously, breakfast was included.

Location is good with 20-minute bus ride from the airport and 30-minute walk to the center (or tram). Rijksmuseum is very close. Every person we talked to at reception was impeccable.

There is no soundproofing whatsoever, sometimes it seemed people were talking in our room. Mattresses way too soft and two single beds pretending being a double bed with a hole in the middle - we did not get much sleep being there 3 with co-sleeping baby rolling over us all night. Lacking basic comfort all the 'green' messages around the room were so annoying - there was a message from shower head, from soap dispenser, lamp etc. Water temperature was not stable in the shower and water-saving shower head did not provide decent pressure. Heating had power setting 1-5 instead of thermostat and I had to get up at night to adjust the heat.

- We booked the hotel with a large double bed. At arraving this room was fullybooked and we got 2 single beds. Hostes of hotel made an offer to sleep in the other Concious hotel 1km away. We refused becouse of the distance. - room not clean. Socks and shirts of previous guest in the closet. We were wondering if the room was cleaned for new guests! - poor breakfast - verry bad beds - hot temprature in room. We needed to put on the aico in March, how concious! - hotel not concious, only marketing skill.

The reception desk staff were very friendly and forthcoming with details about what we might do in the city, where to eat, etc. the entire hotel and especially the rooms were very clean and nicely designed. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a great stay!

We were in the Conscious Hotel Vondelpark. The breakfast was excellent, and the bikes were also very good. The hotel lounge was comfortable and friendly with boards games and a bar. The shower was good and the bed was very comfortable. The heating was fully adjustable and there was no air conditioning.

The staff is very helpful; nice location with good transport links; breakfast is organic and the hotel is (reportedly) eco-friendly.

I reserved a double bed, but got a room with twin beds (they did not have a double room anymore); breakfast is quite expensive; no tea or coffee facilities in the room; the facilities are very basic; the decor in the room (in particular the bathroom) is a bit dated and over-lit

Everything, the room was very comfy! Very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Close to the main tram lines so everywhere was easy to get to.

Everything - the room decor was just as advertised on the internet and there was loads of hot water and the shower cubile was nice and big. Also the staff were great explaining how to get the most out of the I Amsterdam card that we bought. They also told us about some hidden places that we may not have seen otherwise. Would certainly recommend the hotel.

We thought that the breakfast was expensive as I don't eat a lot - a bowl of cereal and coffee. Having said that we didn't try it ....
