Free, no hassle internet, and pleasant lobby to work in. Good location. Price okay. Would recommended the hotel for someone who just needs a room for the night and is not too demanding. Unpleasant, almost hostile receptionist. She better look for a job outside the hospitality industry. Hotel is supposed to be non-smoking but room smelt of stale ash, and the whole gutter outside the window was full of old butts, at least a fifty of them. |

The hotel was appropriate for the time being in Amsterdam, meaning you don't spend time in the room except for sleeping. The room was clean, the bathroom was ok. The room was maybe a little bit too small (roughly the bed plus an "aisle" of 50 cm on each side), at least in case you have huge suitcases which you need to put somewhere. |

Quiet location, good Tram link, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable,walkable distance to major areas ( Dam, Rembrandt Sq., Leidesplein, Vondel Park ) 15minutes - 30minutes. If you wish to spend many hours in your room, ( why would you ? ) choose a Superior room, the're larger. |

Staff, location, free wireless. Booking.com registration didn't get through to hotel. Several other guests that day had the same problem. Free wireless only worked in reception. |

The help from the staff at the reception desk and in the breakfast room The web page indicated safe parking, in fact there is only on street parking and it was Euro 36 per day instead of Euro 32. |

Hotel has a tram stop very close that runs directly from the station, nice quite location in comparison to the centraly based hotels. Avoid at all costs being put in room 012. The toilet flushes whatever you have done straight out onto the floor due to the force of the flush. Staff really didn’t seem to care but after some progressively louder complaining got an upgrade! |

The shower - strong running hot water. (Not very often on hotels); the comfortable beds (a good night sleep is very important); the quietness of the room (we discovered other rooms were much more noisy). Improvement point - The card to open the door wasn't always working and it took quite a few attempts to open the door; maybe have a small fridge in room, so that drinks like applejuice can be kept cold over night. |

The room was very nice, clean and spatious (overall - very comfortable), the location was extremely convenient (quiet, not too far from the city center and just across the street from the amazing Amsterdam Zoo) A little bit more attention from the hotel staff when placing/releasing the credit card holds... |

The hotel is a 15 minute walk into Dam square. It is in an ideal location away from all the hustle and bustle. The tram links are excellent. The rooms were a good size. Some of the hotel staff are rude aand don't really have much time to answer any questions you may have. |

The breakfast is good and rich, the hotel is very near to tram stop and there are also many cafes and restaurants around the hotel. Some of the receptionists are very careless, and are not friendly. They do not give right answers to some typical questions (the place of elevator, the number of trams to railway station, etc.). The hotel room is very small, and I couldn' wash my face in the bathroom whenever the door is closed. The photos of the room do not reflect the reality. |

Location is nice, across the street from the zoo (if you open the window, you can hear the birds and monkeys) and within walking distance from the city centre. This is not one of the crappy Amsterdam hotels, but a decent US-style hotel. I was lucky and got the night for 85 EUR which is a really good deal in Amsterdam. The lobby is nice in order to sit and work. Breakfast room did not open at 7am on my day of departure. As I was under time pressure, I left without breakfast. The breakfast is overpriced. The supposedly free internet in the lobby didn't work properly. Of course, as this is Amsterdam, the rooms can be tiny (mine had a double bed and almost no space not occupied by the bed): but this is to be expected in Amsterdam. |

Very handy for getting into Amsterdam city centre -20 mins walk or 5 mins by tram (No. 9). Friendly and helpful staff at Reception, comfortable rooms, nice and quiet at night. |

The stay was nice - overall. It is clean, convenient and good value for money. During my stay, one of the staff on the desk was nice but another staff was pushing me to get a taxi suggesting I need about two hours from the hotel to the airport (Amsterdam), which was not true at all. It took me less than an hour to get to the airport from the hotel. And I was later told by others that it may take longer time to take taxi that I may get stuck in the traffic since it was during the peak hour. |
