Eden Lancaster Hotel

値段もそれほどしていなかったので、しかたないとおもうけど・・・・ベット以外の設備をもう少し整えたほう- がいいと思う。机や、スタンドライトの上に、ほこりがつもっていた。

中央駅からトラムで約15分ほどの所にあります。停留所からも近く、周辺もとても静かで快適に過ごせました- 。スタッフの方も皆さん親切でした。部屋にお湯を沸かせるポットがあるので、部屋で温かいコーヒーが飲める- 事が嬉しかったです。

Having to transfer to a different hotel for the first night of my stay. Having to repeatedly ask for more coffee and milk granules for use in my room.

Quiet location, good Tram link, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable,walkable distance to major areas ( Dam, Rembrandt Sq., Leidesplein, Vondel Park ) 15minutes - 30minutes.

If you wish to spend many hours in your room, ( why would you ? ) choose a Superior room, the're larger.

Nice Decor

Bathrooms a little too small, Breakfast price extortionate £15/e15 for continental breakfast is not acceptable.

I thought the hotel was very clean and inviting.

The shower - strong running hot water. (Not very often on hotels); the comfortable beds (a good night sleep is very important); the quietness of the room (we discovered other rooms were much more noisy).

Improvement point - The card to open the door wasn't always working and it took quite a few attempts to open the door; maybe have a small fridge in room, so that drinks like applejuice can be kept cold over night.

Very easy to walk to the centre, yet it is in a quiet part of the city. My room was also quiet and well appointed.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk into Dam square. It is in an ideal location away from all the hustle and bustle. The tram links are excellent. The rooms were a good size.

Some of the hotel staff are rude aand don't really have much time to answer any questions you may have.

No aircondtioning but still fine

Location is nice, across the street from the zoo (if you open the window, you can hear the birds and monkeys) and within walking distance from the city centre. This is not one of the crappy Amsterdam hotels, but a decent US-style hotel. I was lucky and got the night for 85 EUR which is a really good deal in Amsterdam. The lobby is nice in order to sit and work.

Breakfast room did not open at 7am on my day of departure. As I was under time pressure, I left without breakfast. The breakfast is overpriced. The supposedly free internet in the lobby didn't work properly. Of course, as this is Amsterdam, the rooms can be tiny (mine had a double bed and almost no space not occupied by the bed): but this is to be expected in Amsterdam.

Very handy for getting into Amsterdam city centre -20 mins walk or 5 mins by tram (No. 9). Friendly and helpful staff at Reception, comfortable rooms, nice and quiet at night.
