Lange Jan Hotel  

All of the staff were amazing: Friendly, helpful, personable, and charming! The location was in the city center but very quiet in the room. You are right near the shops and all the places to eat. The bar downstairs is relaxing and non-touristy - a great change from Amsterdam. Try the burgers from the place next door - they are terrific. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area or as a central point to explore the rest of the country. Amsterdam is only 30 minutes away by train.

The location was excellent, right in the centre of the old part of town.

The room was so small you could hardly move. There was no wardrobe. Fine for an overnight stop, but would be hard for any longer.

Everything absolutely excellent! Location, staff, comfort and nice vibe. We would repeat for sure.

Good location for shops and restaurants, about 50m from main shopping street. Friendly, professional and attentive staff. Clean, well-decorated rooms. Good breakfast. Nice bar on ground floor. Strong WiFi throughout the hotel and c. 3.5Mb/s download speed (during our stay WiFi was on channel 13 which could be a problem for US-configured devices). Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room overlooked the square (our choice) and there was some noise at about 02:30 when, I presume, the bar emptied out. But ear-plugs were provided in the room!!!

Location is very good, friendly and pleasant reception staff, always clean room. I visited this hotel already the fourth time!

In fine weather and mostly in weekend there is quite noisy in outside.

We booked the suite, which is spacious and comfortable. We were not bothered by the noise, despite it being a music festival and a Friday night (but we're city people, so ymmv).

The location, in a busy town square, was a cultural experience, and the hotel even supplied ear plugs for that purpose! Amersfoort is an excellently located destination for art, architecture, and culture. Close to the Kuller Muller, The Mondrian museum, beautiful architecture, and lots of history and...shopping!

Good central location. Room was spacious with a smart moveable Bar/table which I really liked.

Everything is perfect, besides the hotel is on top (part) of a bar and close to the main square: "lieve vrouwekerkhof", so that means you got a lot of noise from people outside during the night. I had chosen a more luxurious room with an own shower which came for a fair price at 70€. Unfortunately it was situated on the first floor at the front side, there where all the noise is the most. I should stay away from this hotel during the weekends when all the partying is going on, or make sure you get a "backside" room without the view over the square.

Perfect customer service, good position in a beautiful town. Rooms clean, newly-appointed. Downstairs is a Pub, but don't let that put you off; relatively quiet & friendly, and the breakfast was great on the terrace overlooking the canal at the rear of the hotel. I will stay there again, in stark contrast to the other hotels on my trip.

Het is een leuk hotel, met een goede energie. Veel hout, dat maakt het warm. En volgens mij onlangs gerenoveerd. Ziet er verzorgd uit. Verder vind ik het personeel bijzonder. De dame in de ochtend bij het ontbijt uiterst vriendelijk en inlevend. De jongen die de avond daarvoor werkte was ook prettig en gastvrij.

Het kan wat lawaaiig zijn, maar wat kan je anders verwachten in het hart van de stad. Toilet op de gang, die je moet delen is ook niet mijn eerste keus. Uitermate leuk en fijn hotel. Ik kom weer.

La sympathie du personnel. Ils sont discrets et toujours souriants. Ils sont à l'écoute du client. 2) la propreté 3) la situation géographique: Au centre d'Amersfoot tout en étant au clame et proche de la gare des trains.

Beliggenhed midt i byen

I beskrivelsen fortalte man ikke, at der ikke kunne køres til hotellet. Navnet på det parkeringshus, hotellet havde aftale med burde nævnes ved booking. Vores værelses beliggenhed, i kælderen med en lille mørk terrasse var ikke optimal.

Bijzonder vriendelijke ontvangst. Behulpzame gastheer! Centrum van Amersfoort, restaurants in overvloed, gezellig.
