We loved looking out on the canal, in small, very friendly hotel. They made room in a safe space to store our bikes. We were happy with the entire stay and would return.

Location is really good, with the center just round the corner, but it's on a nice quiet street. The staff was very helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to take breakfast, so I don't know how that was.

It was not really a problem to us, but it might interest somebody else: in the night, after eleven, the staff has to close the access to the lift, in order to avoid noises in the building. So, if you can't do stairs, but still want to stay out till late, it can be a bummer.

    1) the design of the house - the wood, tiles, staircase, and my gable room (although it's a bit small) 2) the daily breakfast - it's the same everyday, but the selection was good. We had fresh salmon, fresh fruits, herring, hams, and macarons. I think it's good for a small hotel. 3) location - it's very near the old and new church and quite near to the station.

    1) they don't have locker rooms for those who have to checkout but need a place to store their luggage; they do accommodate luggages but they keep them in an open area. Theft doesn't seem to be a problem in Delft but still, it will be more comforting to know if your luggage is kept somewhere that is not accessible to everyone. 2) there was one male staff who was surprisingly cold and grumpy towards us. On our checkout day, I brought down my luggage and was checking if my friend was already seated at the breakfast area when I heard him say, "no luggages in there!" I mean he could have told me in a nicer way. It was surprising because the female staff were so accommodating and cheerful.

We have just spent 5 days at this hotel and have loved it. It is a simple but charming hotel. The location is great. Highlights were walking the pretty canals (which are right outside the hotel), hiring bikes and choosing where to eat. Sad to leave lovely delt and Hotel Leeuwenbrug!

The young ladies on staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The choices at the breakfast buffet were extensive and delicious. There was fresh fruit available every afternoon. The hotel is walking distance to great sights and the train station.

We arrived after an overseas flight and hadn't slept in 20 hours. When we walked into the hotel, hoping for a warm reception, the older gentleman at the front desk stared at us as if we were intruding. When we inquired about checking in, he gruffly informed us we were too early and we should have known that. He didn't offer any help so we had to ask if we could leave our luggage there and walk around the town until check in time. He pointed to a cloak area off the front hallway and left us. We avoided contact with him for the rest of our visit.

Friendly staff, everything neat and tidy, my room was quite spacious and comfortable, you get a fridge rather than a mini-bar, very good breakfast, hotel has a nice 'feel' to it, with seats outside by the canal. I would happily go back if I return to Delft. Delft itself is a pleasant town.

The hotel is not designed to cope with extremely hot weather (not typical weather though). And if you open your window, there are church bells at least every hour (not the hotel's fault). I experienced some noise leakage from other rooms. The bathroom sink was far too small and almost impossible to shave from.

Got a free upgrade to a service apartment, which is an entire building with 2 stories and all facilities for cooking, washing, reading room, etc.

Staff were not really friendly when asked for non-standard things (like an adapter to charge your tablets). My colleague even got a fire of EU25 when she return to the hotel after 11pm (in summer it does not get dark until 11pm). So bring your room key if you are unsure when you return guys.

Very friendly staff. Warm and cosy surroundings. The building is old and very charming. We had booked 2 rooms for the family of 4. One of the rooms got upgraded to an apartment next door. We felt really at home there and made it our base. Wish we could have stayed longer. The town of Delft is a wonderful place to stay. We will return to this hotel.

    Leaving.

Delft is one of the most beautiful towns in the Netherlands and staying in this hotel ensured that our two night stay was thoroughly enjoyable. We can’t wait to return to explore more of the wonderful sights in this town and we will most definitely be making Hotel Leeuwenbrug our first choice for accommodation. The welcome and desk service was exemplary. Our room in the annexe adjacent to the main hotel was of a very high standard. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable three-seater couch to sit in when watching tv, a table with chairs for working and a most usable wardrobe. A large bathroom with all requisites complemented the overall quality of the room. Breakfast was served in the main hotel building included fresh fruit and a full range of breakfast options.

Not having time to stay longer at this great hotel!
