Centrally located (walking distance from Vrijthof place), overall good looking of the lobby, charming decoration, this hotel has definitely a soul (far from standardized and huge hotel chains) and truly deserves its name. Friendly and helpful welcome and assistance by Cindy, the owner of the place. A slackening you discover little by little : chipped crockery, water leaking between bathroom tiles, mould on bathroom walls, cobwebs due to unsufficient cleaning. Plus we found the breakfast is way too expensive for what you got (quantity - hot beverage is definitely not enough - and quality of products, eg tasteless industrial jams).

A perfect hotel at a reasonable price in this beautiful city. Location is right in the old city on a very quiet street. It is full of character - travelling with two children we occupied two adjacent rooms on the top floor - lots of creaky stairs but huge rooms, oak beams etc. A really nice small sitting room for a little quiet relaxation which is better than most hotels in this price bracket. Highly recommended

Mooi wat kleiner en romantisch hotel, ingericht in een gezellige klassieke stijl. Ruime ontbijtzaal, gen buffet maar het ontbijt wordt nog geserveert, heerlijk! Mooie lobby (woonkamer) waar je even kunt zitten in één van de fauteuils om bijvoorbeeld één van de gereedliggende kranten te lezen. Ontspannen sfeer, aardige mensen. Bij vertrek werden we nog uitgezwaaid! Parkeergelegenheid is prima geregeld in de directe omgeving van het hotel.

Joli hôtel très bien situé. Chambre romantique meublée avec goût. Lit bébé gracieusement fourni. Petit déjeuner sympa dans une salle à manger très classe. Les escaliers un peu raides, la moquette dans les chambre peut-être à refaire!

Zeer goede ontvangst door personeel, heerlijk gezellig ontbijt, mooie kamer (de Blauwe Kamer), perfecte ligging in het centrum, rustige straat geen lift, lastig als je zware koffers hebt, maar die hadden we gelukkig niet.

Prima locatie, leuk klassiek hotel; vriendelijk, gastvrij. In het centrum en toch stil, kon mijn auto kwijt (weekend) en kleinschalig. Een uitstekend 'kingsize' bed Het hotel overtrof mijn verwachting. Weinig kleding haakjes en mogelijkheden om je kleren op te hangen. Kleine badkamer, maar voldoende.

goeie locatie, rustig maar toch kort bij het centrum. Romantisch kader is oud herenhuis. Kan hier en daar wel wat opsmuk gebruiken. badkamer was klein en verouderd.

Fraai gebouw met eigenheid en authenticiteit, vriendelijke mensen, mooie ruime zolderkamer, smaakvol ingericht met 'antieke' meubels en romantische uitstraling. Ontbijt smaakte uitstekend en ook hier waren de medewerkers erg vriendelijk Voor ons geen probleem, maar er is geen lift.

De centrale ligging is ideaal, de sfeer in het hotel zeer aangenaam, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel (dat me elke keer weer herkent!). Heerlijk ontbijtje. Fijne ruime kamer (alle kamers zijn anders). Ik kom er al meer dan tien jaar meerdere keren per jaar, blijft genieten!

Locatie in maaastricht en dat het hotel in het oude deel van de stad is gelegen maar kamers zijn gezien de uitrusting ongeveer 20 euro te duur.iw bovwn

Leuk hotel in een mooi herenhuis. Slapen als bij "oma". Heel erg leuk , gezellig, schoon. Super ligging, Badkamer heeft wat achterstallig onderhoud en is klein.

Formidable!cet hôtel porte très bien son nom!Malgré de situation en centre ville la chambre était très calme et très bien agencé,moderne mais tout en gardant le cachet de cette ville.J'ai également apprécié le parking à 12€ qui nous a évité les 50€ de Maastricht!

Het personeel rookt. Dat is tot in de kamers te ruiken. Terwijl men adverterteert / sticker op de deur heeft met 'rookvrij' hotel. En daarop aangesproken komt er ook nog een of ander slap verhaal in plaats van verontschuldigingen. Voorts begrijp ik niet waarom een dubbel bed is voorzien van wieltjes (waarvan ook nog eens de rem stuk is), tamelijk onplezierig. Lakens veel te kort. Onvriendelijke, dwingende ontvangst. Verder wel OK. Was hier eerder al een paar maal en toen wel tevreden. Dit zou wel eens de laatste keer kunnen zijn geweest. Marc Overman
