Staff are extremely friendly, and helpful genuinely. The friendliness I now wonder if that is "organised" - on Sunday the nice lady asked if we minded if the beds/towels were not changed because someone would have to come in specially. We of course said it was no problem, but on Monday (3rd night) the beds still had not been changed though the towels had. One measly piece of soap was also not changed...we did not say anything as they were so nice. However, on leaving we were charged 15 euro a night for our dog - when the booking was made (specifically requested) there was no mention made of a price though it does say "charges may be applicable". This left a bad taste in our mouths I'm afraid - we paid but will not return. Thebreakfast was ok, but nothing special, though their coffee machine is to die for. Nice people indeed, but they somehow left us with the impression they were cutting corners.

Excellent, friendly staff, clean, functional rooms and good food. Conveniently located in the center of Elst with several very good restaurants nearby. Air conditioning would have added some comfort.

I had very specific and personal reasons for visiting the area relating to the war history of the area so chose the hotel purely on location. It proved to be an exceptional find and very cleverly designed. The frontage dates back centuries and is very traditional but hides a very modern hotel built onto the back and invisible until you enter the car park. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet and we had a beautiful meal in the restaurant.

Very friendly staff who were helpful and knowledgable. Attached to a very pleasant restaurant/bar which appeared to be very popular with locals as well as guests. Handy to Arnhem by car. Allowed us to relax for a night prior to the big haul over to Berlin.

We found the hotel staff very friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean and well laid out. The shower and toilet facilities were very nice. It is a nice hotel and I would recommend it to friends in the future. The breakfast was excellent.

Hotel is modern, functional and clean and run by helpful and friendly proprietors. Elst is a small town ideally located for Arnhem's historic tourist sites and the Open Air Musuem. Breakfast was very fresh and good. Parking was plentiful and free No Air Conditioning might be an issue in the summer but in May it was fine. A fan is however provided

Heel vriendelijk personeel; uitstekend restaurant. Vlakbij het hotel was een feestje; tot 2.30 uur geen oog dicht gedaan door de veel te harde muziek. We sliepen boven de ontbijtzaal en werden 's morgens al vroeg wakker door geschuif van stoelen en het koffiezetapparaat.

Geen grote luxe. Sobere, nette, moderne inrichting (ik had volgens het personeel een van de betere kamers). Uitstekende prijs/kwal verhouding. Goed ontbijt, geen extra'S. Voldoende voor gezonde start. Vriendelijk personeel.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, nette kamer en badkamer. Ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk, voldoende keus. Zal het zeker aanbevelen bij vrienden en familie. Matras van het bed vond ik persoonlijk iets te zacht. Maar daar zijn de meningen over verdeeld, bij onze vrienden.

De foto op de site doet vermoeden dat het hotel is gelegen in het sfeervolle gebouw waar echter een cafe/restaurant is gelegen. Het hotel ligt echter achter dit gebouw uitkijkend op een parkeerterrein.
