“Positively surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms, nicely decorated! Quite close to the center, nice peaceful area. Pictures of the rooms on the website are realistic, which I can't say about all other hotels. Totally recommend!”

Hotel de Looier is situated in a quiet street in the center of Amsterdam. It takes only 5 minutes on foot to reach the lively Leidseplein with its many bars and cafes. The rooms have a private bathroom and coffee and tea facilities. A plentiful breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room with large windows. Apart from a bar, the hotel also has a small gift shop and offers the possibility to rent bicycles. Amsterdam’s major attractions are not more than 15 minutes walking distance. Very helpful 24 hour front desk. Easy access to trams. Groceries and amenities nearby. Safe in room. Items taken, even though housekeeping had limited access. No air conditioning.

Reasonably close to downtown. Our stay included breakfast. If I had paid 9,50 euros for the breakfast, I would have been very unsatisfied. It wasn't worth it at all -- small selection, cold and runny eggs, etc. Also the hotel was quite noisey -- from outside noise to someone who came in at 3 am and banged their suitcase up each and every stair.

There is a friendly atmosphere and the employees are very kind. Near a Tram station So it's Good To visit the main city spots. Good prices related To What it offers. Strongly recommended. Fire alarm and smoke sensors too sensible but it is not a Big deal.

Location was ok, you can easily get to the center or museum area. Breakfast was good and fresh. The bed was comfy (but too small!!) Hot water and good heating. Hotel staff was actually rude, not a nice a welcome at reception at all and one of the cleaning ladies (the same one you find at breakfast is real rude!) The rooms are real noisy, you can hear everything that is happening in the hotel. You must be really tired to be able to sleep. (Plus they started vacuum cleaning at 9 am) Cleaning is bad, stained towels, stained carpet. The bed was comfy but too small. Curtains where smaller then the windows, so lights would come in in the mornings. The shower curtain falls as soon as you touch it.

:The location was the prime reason for choosing this site. It is close to Leidsplein and walking distance to the Rijksmuseum and Anne Frank house. It is easy to get to by using tram 17 to Elandsgracht stop. The breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs, meat and cheese, yogurt etc.

Pretty well located, though not in very centre. Has bike rental at hotel Excessively priced, poor value for money, though it may be related to shortage of rooms during IBC conference - raised prices? Breakfast a bit poor.

Hotel accommodation is excellent. To walk to the central square of the city will take no more than 10 minutes. Friendly staff to help organize trips to excursions, and from the airport, etc. The room is very small. Bathroom too small. Two people is unreal to be in the bathroom at the same time. But if the purpose of the trip - excursions, then it does not matter much.

Dass ich dort nur eine Nacht verbringen mußte. Bad hat keine funktionierende Entlüftung, Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden. Vorhänge schmutzig. Matratze: keine Unterlage. Hotel ist sehr laut (Gästeverkehr und -lärm bis 4 Uhr morgens. Treppe sehr steil, Stufenbreite ausreichend bis Schuhgröße 35. Da Bei Brand der Lift nicht nbenutzt werden kann, stellt dies eine erhebliche Gefahrenquelle dar. Allgemeiner Eindruck: Schmutz, ungepflegt, Farben abgeschürft, Wandecken ausgeschlagen. Empfang unfreundlich.

Pas grand chose !!!!.....sauf la proposition de service de voiturier pour notre véhicule durant 48h.... La chambre : très petite et pas fonctionnelle La Salle de bain : excessivement petite, même pas la place pour poser les affaires de toilette..... Téléviseur d'un autre âge.....
