Hotel De Looier  

LOcation is great, for the rest I would give a 2 stars

Location was ok, you can easily get to the center or museum area. Breakfast was good and fresh. The bed was comfy (but too small!!) Hot water and good heating.

Hotel staff was actually rude, not a nice a welcome at reception at all and one of the cleaning ladies (the same one you find at breakfast is real rude!) The rooms are real noisy, you can hear everything that is happening in the hotel. You must be really tired to be able to sleep. (Plus they started vacuum cleaning at 9 am) Cleaning is bad, stained towels, stained carpet. The bed was comfy but too small. Curtains where smaller then the windows, so lights would come in in the mornings. The shower curtain falls as soon as you touch it.

Pretty well located, though not in very centre. Has bike rental at hotel

Excessively priced, poor value for money, though it may be related to shortage of rooms during IBC conference - raised prices? Breakfast a bit poor.

Too much noice in the floor both in the rooms and the hall.

The location was exellent when you have a short time to spend in Amsterdam. Good value for your money. ´will most certain visit the hotel again

Positively surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms, nicely decorated! Quite close to the center, nice peaceful area. Pictures of the rooms on the website are realistic, which I can't say about all other hotels. Totally recommend!

Nothing to complain, everything was perfect! Reasonable price for a cool hotel.

No bath. Rather disappointing breakfast: no muesli, not fresh fruit salad.

It's an ok hotel on a nice location. Don't expect too much: small room with plain bathroom, nothing fancy.

Cleanlyness of room (bathroom in particular) was not up to standard.

The staff and the location of the Hotel De Looier are the best parts of the hotel. It is near the Leidseplein, and therefore not far from anywhere in the City. The staff were very nice and the desk is 24 hours. Maybe an odd note, but they had toiletries in the room! That was a welcome surprise.

This is definitely a backpacker or budget hotel. The walls are paperthin, the floors are, too.

Hotel accommodation is excellent. To walk to the central square of the city will take no more than 10 minutes. Friendly staff to help organize trips to excursions, and from the airport, etc.

The room is very small. Bathroom too small. Two people is unreal to be in the bathroom at the same time. But if the purpose of the trip - excursions, then it does not matter much.

this should be described as 1-2 stars hotel, for sure it doesn't deserve 3 stars. The receptionist kept telling me that my reservation was done for one person and that that this is a favor that I am getting a double room. This was not true as I had coonfirmation for double room (unfortunately I could check it only when I came back home). The bathroom was dirty and there was no hairdryer which I could see on the pictures from the hotel. The price is definitely too high comparing to what you get there.
