Hotel De Looier  

-The location was amazing, really liked it, very close to every major sight and square. -Breakfasts were quite good.

-Attitude of the hotel management, extremely rude; -Shabby room and the building generally; -Extremely expensive for the conditions offered

Clean, bright, warm and comfortable rooms. Also nice and friendly staff at the receiption

A water blur on my ceiling

El hotel se encuentra bien ubicado pero se debe tener en cuenta que Amsterdam no es muy grande. Nos permitieron dejar el equipaje hasta ultimo momento, nuestro vuelo salia a las 20.30 hs y pudimos retirarlo a las 17 hs. La empleada de la noche era agradable.

Las directivas para llegar al hotel no son claras, eramos tres parejas y dos de ellas tardamos luego del segundo tram unos 30 minutos en encontrar la direccion del hotel. El empleado de dia no tenia muy buen humor ni trato. Teniamos tres habitaciones dobles y una de ellas muy sucias. Si tendriamos la posibilidad de ir a Amsterdam nuevamente no volveriamos a este hotel.

Hotel Looier exceptionally peaceful, especially given proximity to Prinsengracht. Breakfasts were also very good.

Amazing value for money! Clean, nice, cheap. Everything as supposed to be If i'm visiting Amsterdam again, i'll take this hotel for 100%

I'm trying to find something I didnt like, but nothing crosses my mind

The hotel was effortlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable, including the pillows! It was in a great location- this hotel is the perfect choice. I had so much fun in Amsterdam I will come back, and to this hotel!

Sometimes you could hear some noise from the next room or above you, but that is to be expected so it wasn't a big problem.

The location of the hotel is its best asset. Just a few minutes from Leidesplein. The room was comfortable but very very basic. The staff was alright but nothing extraordinary.

I didn't like the fact that the room was too basic and the bathroom lacked some amenities. I also found that check out was too early. Overall not bad, but not the best either.

I would like to say a big thanks to Feiz he made our stay brilliant helping and catering to all our needs nothing was a bother to him !! The lady receptionist in the day was also very nice. The hotel was clean , very comfy , good location , nice people. As we were a group of girls we wanted somewhere safe and that's what we got.Our room was cleaned and serviced each of our 5 days which was great.I Would recommend this hotel to groups as the rooms are actually perfect size. We will be back staying here again.

One of the male receptionist on one night was not very approachable and I felt that he was actually quite moody and rude.

It is convenient for travelling around the city centre

The location is Ok, you can go the center taking 2 trams, the room is big and warm in the winter, breakfast is good too.

Wi-fi didn’t work well in the room, everything including the room looks very old, the walls seems unfinished, it’s not comfortable, the floor is tile but at least it's heated, this was the only hotel we’ve stayed in Europe that there’s no magnetic card to open the door, it’s a key that you have to let in the reception when you go out.

Staff were nice. Rooms were good. Bathrooms were good. Bit unclean but didn't bother us. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment

Asked for ice at the front desk three times over three days, all before 11pm and they didn't have any so wasn't that impressed.

Excellent location. Breakfast was good. Room was fine for the price. Heating was great, with big radiators and big windows if it was too hot. Free wireless was great.

Comfortable beds and thick curtains. Helpful staff. Location. The price we paid was much lower than the normal price. I wouldn't pay the normal price as its quite basic.

The hotel is a little shabby particularly in the hallways. Other guests were noisy at night.

Actually, I only like the location. The hotel is near everything but the street is very silent.

Staff is rude and not welcoming. They didn't anything to make things easier. Feels like they are doing you a favor hosting.

Nice location

Room smelled really bad, convinced there was a toilet hidden behind a partitioned wall!

Was very easy to get around, close to the tram stop and 10 minutes to central station. The staff were very helpful and great value for money with quality and comfort of the room.

THe room was a bit shabby. Clean but in need of a facelift.

In my view this was not a 3 star hotel more 2 star. The decor was shabby and fittings in the room did not work. The was a hole punched in the bathroom door and the clientele were very noisy and inconsiderate for which the hotel staff did not respond to. Seemingly this looked like a very good deal but it was disappointing if like us you are looking for a comfortable and well furnished hotel. We only had conversations with two members of staff the receptionist who was very friendly and the breakfast lady who looked pretty miserable on both days and wasn't the most helpful. If you are looking for basic however this hotel would do the trick and may surprise.

Location to trolleys was convenient. Quiet at night. Desk staff was helpful.

Breakfast had limited choices, but otherwise was acceptable.

Location is good,but there is always better. If the price is good for you,you will be pleased.

I must say we had much more than we expected! The room was small but clean and tidy, location was good as well, in few minutes you go downtown by tram and the breakfast was great!
