The staff while not onsite were very close and were quick to respond to us. The construction on the building, the front of the building is covered and they started at 8am so if you weren't planning on getting up early us usually did. |

The owners were delightful The very long staircase from the street leading up to the reception desk on the 2nd floor might be difficult for older travelers. |

Great staff: Marco (the owner) was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. Also, the room and the bathroom were quite large and the beds were wonderful. Unfortunately, our room was on the street side and we did get noise from late-night revelers into the early morning hours. |

Excellent service - an ideal 2-star hotel for anyone wishing only bed and breakfast. The staff could not be more helpful, rooms and beds were very comfortable and an excellent continental breakfast is available for a small additional charge. The hotel lies just 2 minutes walk from the Grote Markt and 10 minutes from the railway station. An ideal base for exploring Netherlands. |

It has a good location and the Manager was very friendly and helplful. The building and the hotel is in the process of refurbishment and probably should not be open for business. There is no reception area and the bedroom seemed unfinished; nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, nowhere to put toiletries, bare pipework, knobs falling off cupboards. Will probably be a good hotel in a year or so, but far from ready for use! |

Hotel Malts is quite lovely and the owners are kind and professional. After asking about where to have dinner with our children, we were given a map and thoughtful answers on where to visit and eat beyond our guide book. The Hotel Malts' breakfast is a real treat too so I recommend you enjoy it for at least one morning. And the beds are very comfortable! |

Large room, new, comfortable bed, good view, friendly staff. Nice bathroom. It is not really ready yet. Both days men were working with lot of noise and banging. Electricity going on and off. TV very small. No info in room about hotel or city. No elevator. Stairs very steep and narrow. Had to walk 60 steps to our room. One one set of keys. When parter went out, had to select to have the room room unlocked or to lock other one inside the room (so impossible to get out). |

Large room. Friendly staff Booking in by 16.00 otherwise having to phone to arrange for somebody to come and open up. Entrance via steep stairs and building work on ground floor premises. |

Very nice small hotel, recently renovated fresh room, comfortable bed, very good breakfast. friendly staff and quiet night at centre town, no traffic noise. Ask for room no:3 with a beautifull spacious balcony, with flowers, big table & chairs, truly fantastic. Very good value for moneay. Tastefull ambiance. The steep stairs, but we were helped with our luggage. No fohn. You need a mobile phone to check in late. |

The hotel is in a great location-close to the Market Square, restaurants and shopping. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The staff, especially Marco, were very helpful and welcoming. He gave us great advice on where to go, what to see and where to rent bikes for the day. He also gave us a ride to the airport as we stayed for three nights. |
