Marinapark Volendam  

+ Nice location, near the harbor, quite large room

- You may not choose non-smoking room when you book your online. We received a smoking room but after discussing with the Hotel Staff we got a non-smoking one, much nicer.

Extremely clean and spacious accomodation. we arrived late due to other commitments and although reception was closed on arrival, a phone call sorted out the issue. on a lovely marina with plenty of bars/food available. Only a bus ride from Amsterdam central for 10 euros return - bargain

We stayed there for 4 days and it was a great experience. We were happy with the room, quite big and clean. We also enjoyed the facilities in the room (mp3 and cd player). The electronic kettle was really a good benefit to make coffee and tea (we got them for free too). On the first night, it was really stormy and we could hardly sleep as the wind blew so strong and we could hear that so loud from the room, The breakfast was ok but we think it could have been better as we were charged for 10euro. It could have been better if we could get salad and some fruits as breakfast. We like travelling to Netherlands and usually we got a good breakfast (more than that we got at Marinapark Volendam).More choices for breakfast such as sausages and scramble eggs would be great. The recreational park was clean and child-friendly. The hotel is located not too far from Volendam centrum (5-7 minutes walking). The location is really good as we could catch a bus (every 30 minutes) to Amsterdam and to other cities nearby. It's really convenient. You only need to pay 10 euros per person to get a return ticket to Amsterdam Central Station.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Location close to a small port which is quiet and peaceful in the morning. Very close to volendam tourist interest points. The room is decorated decently like a family room and much more comfortable comparing to Amsterdam inner city budget hotels.

Reception desk closes too early. No wifi access (we forgot to bring wire lan)

The pool in a sports hotel closed at 5pm, the breakfast was poor. No way was it worth 10th euros

Everything was very good. The staff, the hotel, the village, the room.

Child care

The hotel was comfortable and fairly new with a pool and hot tub. No wifi but free connection for a computer. Lots of biking trails The train dosent go there you must bus from pumerend for 4 euros or from amsterdam for 6 euros. We enjoyed our stay and would go back

It was a good choice to stay and plan the trip to Amsterdam. The nearby bike tour are also nice.

I was rent a bike and ride to all the city, the view was beautiful. I would like to visit again another time. Very clean city

The reception closed at 5 pm. There are no staff at that time.

De netheid van het hotel en de vriendelijke dames achter de balie

De kaalheid en accomodatie op het park zelf. Een kopje koffie in het hotel is niet te krijgen, alleen op het park in een kaal saai barretje( waar zomers hopelijk wel wat te beleven is). En ontbijten in het hotel...lijkt wel een kantine van het zwembad, met wat stoeltjes en tafeltjes saaaaai !! Jammer, de ruimte die leeg staat in het hotel zou een super gezellige plaats zijn om savonds te relaxen en een afzakkertje te nemen, na een dagje toeren. Dat zou de sfeer van het hotel echt te goede doen. Want de uitstaling heeft het wel !!!
