Marinapark Volendam

Gostei do atendimento dos funcionários, e da localização calma e bonita(gosto de Volendam). Gostei da possibilidade de aluguer de bicicletas e do mercado junto à recepção do Hotel.

O pequeno almoço é muito incompleto.

Localização excelente, com quartos grandes, confortaveis e convenientemente limpos, funcionários atenciosos e extremamente simpaticos. Falta apenas um secador de cabelo nos quartos

Excellent location, easy to follow the code system they have so you can access your room key when reception is closed (after 5pm). Great staff, helpful all the way. I'd stay there again. Bus stop very near to go to Amsterdam as well. Nice place, fresh rooms.

They could have a soda/ water vending machine next to the candy vending one. Since they close the market inside at 5pm it would be a nice add for guests.

We stayed with discount price, 60eur/night for a twin room and it is more than what we can expect for accomodation with such a price. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is opposite a very nice restaurant where we had one of the best dinner in our trip to Europe this time

The reception is not available after 5pm. No clear instruction of who and how to call for further request from the room.

Absolutely great location, 25 min to the centre of Amsterdam, In a nice quiet town, at the sea coast. Swimming pool. personnel is very nice, free parking, design of the room was very nice.

500pm close 800 open i paid for the breakfst package and used it one time though they say 800 am the am staff said 830 not good.. not for business travelers

Spacioius clean room with nice bathroom (houses also available but we stayed in the hotel near reception) Kettle in room which is always nice. Good swimming pool, onsite supermarket, helpful receptionists, laundry, pub and restaurant. Very nice complex and ideal for visiting Amsterdam as the bus stops directly outside.

I didn't like paying almost 5 euros at reception for a very small map of Voldendam and a little of the surrounding area. Usually freely given in hotels and towns. I think it would be nicer if they just could give you a free basic town centre map or perhaps just display one in the reception area?

The area was a very interesting contrast to Amsterdam. It was next to a marina and the coast. Parking was good

There was no-one at all when we arrived at 17:30. The place was locked. Only when we finally received a key card from the lockbox via a voice on an intercom were we able to get inside. There was no WiFi code because we had to wait until the employees arrive the next morning. On our last day they taped a WiFi code to the television.

Spacious, comfortable, quiet room with large bathroom. In an excellent location a few minutes walk to the centre of Volendam. Lovely swimming pool and well stocked shop.

Limited hours of reception staff. There was no one available to help if you had a problem after 18.00. Also there was no hotel information or contact details left in our room.

Tv in room was small. Reception/shop closed at 17.00hrs.

Each room is clean and spacious. Well stocked with towels, toiletries and drink making facilities. It is a good location especially if you are travelling by car, just 20 mins into Amsterdam and close to lots of lovely, smaller towns like Edam and alkmaar. We have stayed their twice this month and the good service and cleanliness has been consistent

He only thing that lets it down is that there is no wifi, however you can get free wired Internet in your room so it isn't a massive deal.

Kindly staff. Good rooms. Please mark difference between hotel rooms' numbers and cottages' numbers more obvious, especially during the night :-)

Nice situation, convenient for trips to many interesting little villages and to Amsterdam.; not to mention a convenient stop for the night brfore catching the car ferry.

Somewhat sparsely finished rooms; no restaurant.

Staff very friendly, English spoken throughout, whole stay was a delight. Bar and restaruant only 1 minute walk around building, it was raining all weekend, but this did not effect the stay. Food and beverage excellent. One to re-visit. Parking on site brilliant.

Difficult to contact staff very early morning, we left 5.00am and no one about, phone number not answered, however, we bumped into maid on way out who asked us to phone later with any problems. Very helpful.

Location, Voledam is beautiful and the hotel is well situated and the rooms etc are excellent, for the price it's well worth a look !!

Very nice setting and homely atmosphire

Very friendly staff in reception, great value for money and an easy walk into Volendam. We came by bus (316) from Amsterdam and the bus stops about 200 Metres from the hotel. For a modern hotel they have captured a real Dutch feel with furnishings, pictures etc.

The location, walking distance from the centre of Volendam and it's many bars and restaurants, was excellent. So too was the accessibility to Amsterdam and many picturesque towns and villages, a great centre for a touring holiday of the region. although we didn't take advantage of the cycle/boat hire there was some available ata reasonable cost. There were day trips to Markem across the water and Amsterdam was just a short bus ride away. The hotel room itself was clean and spacious, very functional, but beds were not terribly comfortable, you could feel the springs of the mattress. The bathroom was great plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. It was good to have access to an outside area from our room with table and chairs, but this was very open to public view and the wind, screens between the areas for each room would have been good. We didn't use any of the amenities but the pool, bars, shops around the hotel seemed good. There was a good safe in the room, plenty big enough for wallets, documents, cameras etc. all in all a good value hotel in a fantastic location.

The beds weren't the most comfortable. There was no air-con, which normally isn't a problem if you can get air into the room, during the day you'd have the doors open, at night you couldn't without leaving yourself vulnerable to intruders. Luckily we had an electric fan with us which we had to have on all night, even then it was uncomfortable, we like fresh air and there was no way of getting any into the room -big design fault!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean to the point that, for the first time I have ever seen in any hotel, the outside of the windows were cleaned daily by the house keeping staff, the location was very good with a good selection of nearby eateries and the hotel car parking facilities were also pleniful and well managed

I have no complaints about the hotel or the staff and would have no problem recommending this as a good place to stay

The rooms are very spacious, our room on the 1st floor gave access to the large terrace where each room has a table and chairs. It was a very nice and quiet spot to have breakfast or to read in the evening. The hotel is situated at 10 minutes walking from the old harbour of Volendam. Abundant free parking. The staff is friendly. Coffee making facilities in the room which we find very practical.

On the site it mentioned that the reception closes at 17.00 so we had to rush to make it in time. In fact during July and August the reception is open until 8.30 pm. We tried to check this in advance but when you call them they charge you 20 cent per minute (can you believe this?) and of course you get put on hold so we gave up. This hassle is really a pity because it is a very nice hotel with beautifull rooms and we would love to return there next year. Breakfast is too expensive though, buy it in the shop.

great position. Easy walking, near to shopping and boating. Clean and comfortable.
