Score from 2353 reviews Excellent
very cool area, nearby river and only a few minutes walking to the food corner. If you come from Rotterdam Central only take TRAM 7 and goes direct to the hotel.
Reasonably priced, excellent location.
Nice staff and a nourrishing breakfast included.
No shampoo in the bathroom, at a 3 star hotel. No fridge
It is very easy to get to with the car and it is exactly convenient for parking and metro
the room that we have booked is with 2 apart small beds ,it is not so comfort.
Location Service Breakfast Heat Clean
Noisy when trams are passing by late at night or 5 am, Decoration is nice but needs a refresh
The perfect stay with the desire to conquer the world
good breakfast, cosy restaurant
In booking.com is noticed 18m2. I came at maximum to 12 m2, bathroom included. But I must say it is arranged in such a way that it doesn't feel small.
Great location and view from the window
Wind blowing through the closed window
The restaurant was super with staff that was welcome at Lunch and Dinner, the room was small but was perfect clean and organized.... will be there definitely in Jan 2015 .
Breakfast at the Restaurant .... I didn't like.
Breakfast was good and the sight from the window of the room was nice
The room was awful. Old furniture. Extremely small. Bathroom very bad.
- Breakfast - a real surprise, it was quite complete. - Location - right next to the Erasmus bridge, many transport options. If travelling by car there is a street nearby on which you are not charged parking after 6 PM (tip from desk). - Mainly helpful and friendly staff.
- old everything - walls, furniture, bathroom. Beddings were clean though, no problem there. - no toiletries, only a showercap provided and a 90% empty shower gel bolted in the shower. - poor communication - added a comment with my order in which I asked for a river side room, no one replied, all of them were booked while I stayed there. - could not sleep at all due to noise from rain hitting loudly a metal plate by the window.
Good location Good hotel Good breakfast Every thing is good
Early check out
Pretty good, nice location, good access, clean rooms
breakfast a bit poor
The hotel has three separate towers. The nice tower has an excellent view and amenities but the back tower is a very poor quality Hostel with a shared bath on each floor. I paid 49e for the room and then another 36e to upgrade to a room that actualy had it's own bath.
Great location. good Wi-Fi Connection
Full of marine memorablia: boats, photos, bits & pieces - must have been a seamens' mission in a former life methinks. And it seems many seafarers catching a ship stay there too. Good location by the Erasmus Bridge with a tram to the station (#7) terminus next door. Reasonable breakfast with great coffee & fresh bread, but nothing really hot unless fried rice, waffles & hard-boiled eggs count. So the location riverside is good IF you get a room with a view. My (cheap) single hadn't & I shared both WC & shower with 4 other rooms. But as one comment said online "If you only sleep there, it's OK" whcih I agree with. The bar is OK, but located on the street side & not the river side, which is a mistake as the better one nexr door in Tulip Inn demonstrates. Value for money though and the beds are good too as +per another comment online.
The big space between bar & reception need a new concept. The bar should be transferred to the river bank & the lunch menus should be taken away when their time has run out. The restaurant too should be re-located to somewhere with a window to take advantage of the view! Looking at model ships is not enticing at all.
Location, immediate vicinity, close to museums, great view of Erasmus bridge.
small room, one lift.
I had a river view room was nice clean
Room was way too small not enough room to be comfortable
Could not upgrade
location and value for money, including breakfast!
It was the only hotel out of 22 on our trip that charged us a night 's accommodation for changing the booking by a day ( with two week's notice ) Very noisy all night
Decent price and location
Small room, smellly room
Good price (in relation to quality). Reasonable food. Pub downstairs.
Slow wi-fi. Small beds.
location hotel good
comfort bad,and my daughter found on the bed cockroach.
